Then we look at the NFC Playoff Picture as a whole. Would Matt Ryan want the New York Giants in the first round again? Can the Seahawks go hard without Earl Thomas? Will Dak Prescott have a rookie moment at the wrong time? We preview those answers and throw a lil NBA Talk.

The Dallas Cowboys have a decision to make in whether to keep Dak Presscott starting or go back to Tony Romo. I understand there is momentum to protect. It seems that the media and the fans believe more in the narrative of Tony Romo being a screw up or someone who can't win when it counts instead of what he is. Which is he is a to 10 quarterback in the league. Sometimes you have to look at the stats and look at the sum parts. Dak isn't ask to do a whole lot and it's working. With Romo being out a few more weeks, the decision for the Dallas Cowboys will be even harder. Russell Crowe tosses Azealia Banks out of his dinner party. Banks was the plus one of RZA and from sounds of it, she didn't fit the crowd. As you can imagine both parties have completely different stories. Crowe's people are saying that Azealia criticized the music selection by calling them "boring old white men" Apparently Russell didn't like it and yolked her ass out the party. To make it something serious the Game dedicated an entire visual experience for Pest Control. Even with Meek Mill’s OOOUU Remix it’s like nothing he is doing can seem to connect in anyway shape or form. As Keith said he is a “millennial gangsta rapper” and does things about the money. Chance The Rapper’s Independence (32:28) Chance has shown that his moves are about Chance. He drops an album excursively on Apple and then follows that up with the live stream of the Magnificent Coloring Day on Tidal. Chance is doing some things that haven’t been seen on an independent level in the streaming era. Today on the podcast, the home team discuss the recent Draymond Green suspension that was a result of the dust up with LeBron James. He is out of tonight's NBA Finals Game 5 match-up between Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors. After that we get into the recent battle on another court. Rocko is suing Future for $10 Million after finding out Future had cut some side deals with epic. According to the story, Rocko is missing his 25% advance cut and 20% the 360 deal with Epic. With Rocko being the gateway for Future to get into the industry, you would think there would be some "street" loyalty.

Jamie is renowned TV enthusiast and I wanted to discuss some of the Fall TV lineup. One of the stars of Fall TV is Shonda Rhimes. Between one of my favorite shows "How to get away with Murder", "Scandal" and "Grey's Anatomy" she is running Thursdays on ESPN. We have the table the discussion by looking at her effect of amount of color we see on TV. In the last few years we see Empire, Blackish, Power, Mr. Robinson, The Carmichaels, and a few more really see benefit of a going in on the fact that black people watch TV too. We also get into Mr. Robot, The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore, Spider-Man as Miles Morales, and get her suggestions on what else watch. Thanks for listening!

Wus happenin people! How did that fantasy team do week one? Didn't mean to make you sad. Anyway... This week on the podcast I have a guest whose work I really admire. I have Vann "@FiveFifths" Newkirk II from the NWAP (Negroes With A Podcast), Seven Scribe, and a freelance contributor to many sites including Grantland. I discovered FiveFifths on Twitter with a couple thoughtful tweets. I ended up finding the podcast NWAP that he does with three of his partners, @Smooth_Orator @taut_7 and @negroid_android. They discuss many social issues that Black America is still dealing with on a day to day. They bring very different viewpoints and are very educated on everything that they speak on. Being a Morehouse grad, Vann know quite a bit about Atlanta and even someone smart as him like Future's music.

On this episode we get back in the football groove by getting our good friend Dave Choate from The Falcoholic. We get into the coaching change from Mike Smith to Dan Quinn and what it feels like going into this year. Then we discuss the the Falcons rookie pass rusher Vic Beasley, try to figure out who is playing running back. Thanks for listening!

Since we been on a bit of a hiatus. This week we are doing a dose of podcast. On this episode I welcome back Keith Nelson Jr. of #Cultured Approved and any website who accepts freelance writing (kidding..sorta). Keith had previously been on the podcast over a year ago and I still am getting feedback from that episode this day. So when the rap game decided beef was decided over tweets and not bars I could express what I wanted to say in a 140 characters and neither could Keith. We discuss the beef between Meek Mill, Joe Budden, Drake and what light Nicki Minaj has put on him. We also get into one of the sub conversation of when is it ok to use someone else's lyrics as a premier rapper and in general. Since this is an Atlanta bred website we wrap up talking about some the random ATL rappers that got involved with the beef and where Future is heading after "Dirty Sprite 2". Then a little about rap nostalgia vs. other genres fascination with it.

So here is my second step in new direction for #DaRundown South. In this episode I wanted to look into the behavior of Rachel Dolezal as she took over the headlines on the nightly news, The Today Show, and lead to plenty of old people on Skype calls on TV. This is a white woman who basically rose up the ranks of black society, like an undercover cop infiltrating a caretel, to be the head of a NAACP chapter in Spokane, WA. I know it might be a little late but I take more time to digest what's going on. I had more questions than answers. I was more interested on how we got here in the first place. I wanted to know the role that having black adopted siblings played in her getting here. Why were parents so easily convinced to out her? Why was she so convincing playing black and how loyal can a hair stylist be? To get some answers I enlisted the help of Professor Wizdom Powell, PhD, She works at University of North Carolina's Gillings School of Global Public Health.
