This week we are joined by Jordan McFarlane and the Cardiff School of Mission. Jordan encourages us from Mark's gospel in how to have faith that can move mountains. It starts by knowing who God is; the healer, provider, restorer. Then, we discover the hope to which He has called us; health, provision and restoration. Then, we can have faith for these things.

The only way that we can ever truly succeed is to be like Jesus; to have the same attitude as Christ. Ezekiel shares brilliantly about the importance of humility and submission in helping us know real success in life!

In the last week of His earthly life, Jesus shared a final meal with His disciples. At this Last Supper He took bread and wine and gave these familiar ‘Passover’ elements brand new meaning, declaring them to be His body and blood - powerful indicators of His Presence amongst His Church whenever we share the Lord’s Supper. Join us as we consider what it means to “do this in remembrance of Him” and what happens when we gather around the Table together...

As we progress through Mark’s gospel together, one thing we see is that Jesus’ radical teaching often inspired opposition, and sometimes unnatural alliances between His enemies (Mark 3:6). In Mark 7 (v.24) we see Jesus departing the busy activity around the Sea of Galilee, to head north into Gentile territory. Given the distance, this trip was unlikely to have been a quick journey and in this message we ponder on the possible reasons for it, as well as the fruit which came out of it, which may have sowed seeds toward the later gospel explosion from Israel to the ends of the earth!

In Mark 5 we read a fantastic story of Jesus's encounter with two 'daughters': a little girl who's been living for 12 short years and a woman who's been bleeding for 12 long years. Both need a miracle; a powerful touch from the Lord of Life...and, once again, Jesus never disappoints!

In our first School of Ministry for 2016, Andrew equips the church and helps us to learn that being prophetic is for everyone, not just a select few. We understand that the prophetic must begin with a heart of love and a servant's attitude. We should be good stewards and give time to understanding the true riches of The Word.

Much of Genesis is devoted to the story of Joseph and the outworking of the God-given dreams that propelled him from a dysfunctional family to a place of worldwide influence! God has a purpose for our lives and our churches: He wants us to embrace big dreams that will capture our hearts and minds, shape our destinies and make us fruitful day to day!...

In the opening chapters of Mark’s Gospel we meet Jesus as He starts to transform the lives of all who come to Him. Join us as we discover what it was that caused great multitudes of ordinary people to follow Him and respond to His profound teaching and His powerful touch.

The ministry of Jesus began just as His Father said it would (Mk 1:1-2). The words of the Father spoken over the life of the Son were His secure foundation, His road map and His springboard into action in every situation. Jesus declared, ‘The time has come’ (Mk 1:15) because He saw in every situation the moment pregnant with God's purpose (kairos), such that He was able to move in the power of the Holy Spirit to bring to everyone He met just what they needed. Mark’s fast paced narrative illustrates for us how this enabled Jesus to pursue His Father’s will without being deviated or distracted from His course, by giving Himself completely to every God-appointed kairos.

Mark’s Gospel is a fast-paced account of the Good News of Jesus Christ, and in the opening chapter we find an action-packed ‘explosion’ of life and hope, as Jesus begins his public ministry! Join us as we take a closer look at some vital aspects of this “good news” and consider the implications for us if we’re to experience a ‘gospel explosion’ today...

At the start of the New Year we are reminded of the ‘totality’ of Christ’s finished work - His total forgiveness, total healing, total compassion, total dominion and total restoration. And our response this year is total praise and total commitment - fully enabled by His total empowering!

The Church is a family! As part of that diverse family God gives us spiritual Mothers and Fathers, those whose nature it is to be so, including those in positions of leadership. What is the role and function of those 'Mothers and Fathers'? And why does the Word tell us to submit to them? These and other questions are considered in this message.

Now more than ever it is vitally important that we know God is good, in His nature and in all He does. We must know and understand the fact not just because it is what we say, but because we really understand the truth of the Word and experience His goodness in the land of the living!

We consider the 'Power of REMEMBRANCE', the 'Power to REALISE' His love for us, the 'Power to RENEW' our love for Him, and lastly the 'Power to RECLAIM' that which we've lost, or let go of, from the promises of His Covenant. If God did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for us, how much more will He not give us all things (Rom 8:32). We shouldn't therefore settle for anything less than God's best for our lives!

The book of Hebrews tells the wonderful story of a great heart transplant. Our holy and righteous Father made obsolete the Old Covenant which cleansed the body but not the heart, and sent his Son to establish a new and better Covenant so that we, like Jesus, could be made holy and righteous and enjoy perfect fellowship with our Father by receiving a new and perfect heart. With this new heart we can enjoy God's rest, strengthening and presence and should put it into action!

Reading Zechariah 3, we discover that God is ready to forgive us and dress us in clean clothes, and that the accusations of Satan have no power over a child of God. We find that God gives us freedom and prepares places where we can walk. We also learn that the people of God should invite their neighbours to sit peaceably with them and share the goodness of God.
