The shepherd loved and watches over the sheep. The Great shepherd lives in us and has given us a tender and responsive heart, to help us to gather in, "the sheep without a shepherd". It's ALL about the sheep and it's about ALL the sheep.

Nevertheless, when we gather round the Lord’s Table there’s a real sense in which we enjoy the special ‘flesh and blood’ presence of the Lord, and are reminded of what He’s done for us and who we are ‘in Christ’. Authority In Congregational Worship: Our worship is an overflow of what is in our hearts. Because our hearts are under the lordship and authority of Jesus Christ, it means that they are also in authority, and so what flows out of them carries authority too. There’s authority in what we sing. There’s authority in what we do. There’s authority in gathering together. There’s great authority in our worship!
