In this episode of the podcast, David and Kevin talk about the new eBook, “The Creation Emancipation” that David is releasing at no cost. Ever. In the Book, David talks about the unique voice that each church has to speak the language of the culture they have been placed in. In today’s podcast we dig into that idea, along with some of the other ideas that lead the church to be the creative force it should be! Listen in. Don’t take my word for it: “The Creation Emancipation is a reminder to the Church of our responsibility to steward creativity. And while a reminder is great, David gives us a practical guide to build our personal creativity, team, and relationship with our senior pastor. • WMC Podcast – 0144 – Interview with Don Moen

    02/12/2014 Duração: 31min

Interview with Don Moen I have to say, you are in for a real treat in this episode! We were fortunate enough to be able to interview Don Moen about a new project he’s doing called: “Worship In Action.” Worship In Action (WIA) is a 501(c)(3) organization based in Nashville, Tennessee. Don Moen founded WIA in response to the great needs he encountered while on worship tours around the world. It became very clear to Don when he met a little girl named Gifty in Accra, Ghana, that God wanted him to do more than just sing and lead people into worship. God wanted Don to step out and be Christ’s hands and feet to hurting people. The purpose of Worship In Action is to do just that: to be the tangible hands and feet of Christ to people who have lost hope. Besides talking about this new non-profit, we also got to talk about worship. Of course we spent a little time talking about some of his heritage in worship songs he’s written, but that’s not what struck us in the conversation. What really resonated with us was how he

Interview with Joel Payne of RESOUND Worship In this episode of the Worship Ministry Catalyst Podcast, we talk with Joel Payne of RESOUND worship about their recently released Christmas album “Christmas Songs.” The heart of RESOUND is to provide worship songs that are accessible for local congregation and local church musicians. RESOUNDworship.org is a group of British worship-songwriters, seeking to resource the church with heartfelt, crafted, accessible worship songs. We believe these should be birthed in the local church and then refined by a peer critique process, if they are to benefit the wider church. We want to share these as widely as possible, so we offer many of our resources completely free, with a small charge for some that are more costly to produce.
