WMC, 009.5: A Resource and encouragement
21/07/2008 Duração: 19minYou might be wondering why this week’s episode is only episode 9.5. Well, like I explain in the podcast, I accidentally deleted the podcasts that Kevin & I recorded today, and they are unrecoverable. So, I had to record an episode with just me talking, so it’s only equal to half an episode. Since it was just me talking, I decided to share a resource that I use very frequently in worship ministry – planning center online. It’s a great resource I’ve been using for some time now. I talk about it quite a bit in this episode.

WMC, 009: Doing a Worship Service Review
14/07/2008 Duração: 32minThis week, Kevin and David talk about doing an evaluation of your worship services. The big question driving this discussion is “how are our worship services going to get any better if we don’t evaluate them?” Evaluating a worship service can be a difficult thing to do, and it’s something that is more complex than we can cover in this podcast. However, we hope that this podcast will serve as a catalyst for discussion on how you can evaluate your services. We would love to hear ways and questions you use to evaluate your Worship Service

WMC, 006: Hymns, Choruses, Blended, Contemporary – what have you…
24/06/2008 Duração: 36minIn this weeks’ podcast, Kevin & I were joined by Scott Olson mid podcast. We talk about using Hymns in worship, some of the pros and cons to having to fall into a style of music as opposed to using songs based on the content of the lyrics. It’s a topic we are just touching the surface of, but it’s a great start to the discussion.

16/06/2008 Duração: 35minIn this week’s episode, Kevin & I talk about some of the important things in keeping relationships healthy among worship team members and church staff members. WMC, 004: Confronting In Love
09/06/2008 Duração: 35minIn this weeks’ episode, Kevin and David talk about dealing with confrontation, and to do it in love. All of us, no matter what position we are in will have to confront someone about something, and when that happens we need to be able to do so in a way that not only honors the person we are confronting, but honors God as well. Hopefully what we talk about will be helpful advice for you all. Please feel free to leave a comment on this blog post if you have some helpful advice in dealing with confrontation. WMC, 002: What is Worship (For Real This Time)
23/05/2008 Duração: 33minIn this weeks episode, Kevin and I talk about what worship is. (That’s actually what we talk about this week – last week’s episode was mis labeled) We thought about what topic we should start the podcast off with, and really wrestled with whether or not it would be cliche to start the podcast on the topic of worship. We decided to go ahead and do it anyway. If you have feedback for us about this episode, or if you have a topic you’d like us to discuss in future episodes, please feel free to email us. You can use the contact page to get in touch with us, or you can simply email david@worshipministrycatalyst.com
