This was only Disney's 2nd animated feature film and it was considered a box office flop. We'll go behind the scenes of the development of "Pinocchio" from the original story by Carlo Collodi to the revolutionary animation practices developed that have many animation historians claiming this film to be a near perfect animated feature.

The idea for a story about a young girl growing up with a complex range of emotions living inside of her head as a colorful cast of characters was actually one that Director Pete Docter had years before the film was ever made, and it came to him based on a real life experience with his own 9 year old daughter, Ellie. Together, we'll look at the story behind the film and what makes "Inside Out" a film that, in my opinion, deserves a spot right alongside Disney classics like "Pinocchio"and "Robin Hood" and Pixar classics like "Finding Nemo" and Monsters Inc."
