When a woman of the city, a sinner, entered the house of Simon the Pharisee where Jesus was eating, she entered to perform an act of worship. But her worship was scandalous.

The Vision of FBC Haw River is to advance the kingdom of God by encouraging all people to know, grow, and go, in Jesus’ Name.

The first Easter, the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the grace of Christ, the love of Christ... all of these are not the tame, calm, pretty subjects we have made them out to be. They are all scandalous at their core.

In this world, we will face tribulation, but take heart, Christ has overcame the world.

As we approach Easter, we look at how Jesus told His disciples their sorrow would be turned into joy.

As husbands, we are called to leaders. We are gifted with the gift of leadership. With this gift comes a command to lead by leading, providing, and loving.

As the branches, we are told to abide in Christ. A big part of that abiding is knowing our relationship to the vine and the vine dresser.

Barnabas, the son of encouragement, encouraged Saul and the disciples as God worked in Saul's life to change him. The persecutor became a believer, the encourager was there.

For the disciple of Jesus Christ, stewardship begins with being a good steward of His Son.

We give as a result of what we have been given. The way we give is a reflection of our hearts and our stewardship.

Stewardship starts with with us; our bodies, our souls, our hearts, our minds.

Jesus was the divine Son of God. His case was proven by His divine origin, His divine testimony, and His divine authority.

When Jesus was questioned by Nicodemus as to what he needed to do to be saved, Jesus reply was simple, You Must Be Born Again.

When Jesus was asked about the greatest commandment, his answer came directly from His Father's Word. Love God supremely and love people genuinely.

The tenth and final commandment prohibits coveting anything that we have not been blessed with. By coveting we show discontent for the blessings we have received.
