Today, only 20% of our youth attend church. Only 15% of those will remain in their faith past high school (15% of 20% = 3%!!). Those numbers don't bode well for our children. How can we reach the youth of today? This week Kurt and Chad welcome Louisville Youth For Christ Chapter President Gregg McMullen. He talks about the history of YFC and how they are making a difference in our community. Gregg also tells how we can make the difference in a young persons life.

Marriage can be hard. Marriage with children is even more difficult, but a blended family is probably the most challenging. On this week’s show, Chad and Kurt welcome a panel of men who talk about not just surviving, but thriving, in a blended family. The three guys together have about 40 years of blended family experience, and they talk about the challenges and different aspects of the blended family. Ken Martin and his wife Nancy also lead a weekly blended family support group you can be part of.

Have you ever gone into a grocery store and there was no fresh produce, no milk? Not likely - we have the farmers to thank for that. So what's it like growing up on a farm? On this week’s show, Kurt and Chad welcome Kurt's father, Jerry Sauder - a third generation farmer. He explains how raising kids on a farm develops their faith, their character and a strong work ethic.

His father, NFL pioneer Jim Tyrer, was physically larger than life - 6’6" and 300 pounds. And, he was as quick on his feet as he was big. His football resume was impressive. Jim played in the first Super Bowl and won in Super Bowl IV. He was an All-Pro Lineman for 9 years. This week, as Brad sits down with Kurt and Chad, he tells how his idyllic childhood took a tragic turn on September 15, 1980, and how his life would never be the same. Brad went on to make a name for himself as a linebacker for Tom Osborne at Nebraska. Bowl games and gridiron glory behind him, Brad developed meaningful friendships with men on and off the football field, and his life would again, never be the same. This time for the better...and for eternity.
