Waffle On about Con Air. Hello and welcome back to Waffle On Podcast in which Meds and Kell finally are able to get away from recording over skype and get back into the chairs and chat away next to each other.  On this episode the lads talk about the 1997 film Con Air starring Nicholas Cage, John Malkovich and John Cusack. There is the usual mix of theme music, clips and a email from Rob K. Also Meds and Kell have a big announcement and hope you all can be part of it.   

Waffle On about Sitting Target. The lads have a treat for you this month. Starring Oliver Reed, Jill St John and Ian Mcshane, Sitting target is a brutal 1970's movie of revenge. Its gritty style offers an insight to realistic city British life. Waffle On about Lost In Translation. Happy 2021 to you all, we skipped January for tech issues but really I think we all wanted to skip January. Well what a film to bring you, a film that always cheers you up and let's face it after this year we all need some well deserved festive oomph.  This film features James Stewart as George Bailey, a man pushed to the edge and wishes he had never been born. Meds and Kell chat away and offer some festive clips from the film as well as the usual off tangent conversation. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all.

The film boosted the career of one Russell Crowe who delivers an astonishingly powerful performance as lead skinhead Hando.  As usual the lads talk about recent events, tv shows along with a breakdown of the film. This is the first film that spawned off at least five sequels, all have a common theme and that is you seriously can't cheat Death.  The boys also talk about what they have been watching and also share their opinions on life at the moment. Waffle On about Ghostwatch In 1992 the BBC showed a TV Horror Mockumentary, shown at 9pm on Halloween the show caused controversy and has never been broadcast on standard tv since. Meds and Kell attended a showing of this programme along with a Q&A with creator, writer Stephen Volk and director Lesley Manning at the Midland Arts Centre and thought it woud be a perfect waffle subject. Waffle On About Salem's Lot What a cracker of a Halloween episode the boys have for you this month. First a quick chat about the recent box office smash 'Joker' then a brief talk about some tv shows and then they delve into this classic horror tv series 'Salem's Lot'. Yes they cover the original tv series version starring David Soul and James Mason.  A bonus Halloween treat is at the end of the show as well, the traditional song (Silver Lady by David Soul) and a spooky Halloween reading of The Tell tale Heart by Edgar Allen Poe and read by..... James Mason. The boys along with the guests of Waffle On will be mooching around a pub in Birmingham in the new year for a Waffle On drink and all are invited. Waffle On about Batman (1989 film) What a corker of a film this is especially for the hosts as  Meds and Kell went to the cinema together to see this back in the day (Blimey they are old). Take a listen down memory lane as they chat away about this classic bit of comic book fun.
