We start off with a caller describing a common problem found on lawn tractors; the compression release mechanism breaks, rendering the machine un-startable. A broken 4-speed transmission in a '67 Camaro follows, with Ray suggesting a 5-speed conversion to the owner. Guest Carl Anthony from Automoblog.net rolls up his sleeves and gets dirty with the boys, he also shows some love to the much-maligned Samurai, Tracker & Geo line of cars.

Ray helps a good friend install a dash cluster in a 57 Chevy, then Chris recounts an issue with the transmission in a family member's 67 Camaro. Rust conversion treatment for an 80's El Camino is covered, as well as some other rust encasing strategies. The ergonomics of the Chevy Malibu and Cruze are talked about, capped by the type of drivers who like the Suzuki Samurai.

With Chris out of town, MatcoMan Brian sits in as Ray's co-host. What do they talk about...buying cheap vs quality tools, rebuilding air-powered tools, and tool truck maintenance of course. A caller reports on his Honda Hybrid with concerns about repairs down the road, then it's back to parts talk again, with stock vs aftermarket offerings considered. Ray can't help but ask Brian about his ongoing 66 Mustang project.

Ray rants about how people tie down cargo on their car roofs and wonder why they can't do this easy task correctly. Recharging a cars A/C at home leads to the question of whether it's better to drive with windows up or down for better MPG. A caller talks about his crappy Honda while another gets quizzed by Ray when its learned he has a '55 Chevy project car.

A caller talks about available options when buying a Hybrid vehicle, then Chris continues his anti-Holley carburetor campaign. The boys try to sort out the issues he's having with a mild acceleration stumble, and when Ray has enough he turns the table and talks about tuning the Hollry Sniper he's installed in his car. The specifics of doing a compression test round out the hour.

Chris finds an electrical problem in his old car the old fashioned way, then laments over the float adjustment in the same car. When the boys have had enough of the old school talk Ray brings the show into the fuel injection age with his Holley Sniper conversion. Chevy Cruze plastic cooling system parts come up, as do the special tools needed to work on these newer cars.

This show starts off hot and heavy with Chris' disdain for the Holley carburetor that's on his car. Ray & callers try to talk him off the ledge but he's not budging! Talk turns to ultrasonic cleaners for carb rebuilding, and how to replace a freeze out plug on a 57 Chevy. Ford's decision to keep AM radios in their cars rounds out the hour.

Chris describes an annoying miss his old Chrysler is having and the boys try to come up with a solution. Ray goes on a rant about how people revive old cars but don't do ANY maintenance before hitting the road, then shows Chris his new talent for making Weather Pack connections. Chris takes us out with a story about re-bending an ill-fitting transmission line.

Dave talks about his slick hidden headlight and grill conversion for C10 trucks, the compression syle throttle return spring, and the swing away steering column made for coupes & street rods.

You'll hear celebrities, local hero's and regular car guys talking about the things that keep us all connected and coming back for more.

Ray clicks off bucket list items by attending the Reinbeck NY car show with other members of the ROMEO club, and scores a set of M/T BBC valve covers at the swap meet. Chris has closure with the weird brake pedal feel on his Tracker, but gets burned by frozen exhaust hardware on his Chrysler. Ray explains why he has to go back to move forward with his fuel injection conversion project.

Ray's latest car project has Chris asking what the benefits are to converting an old car to electronic fuel injection over carburetion. Ray counters by giving advice on how to start ANY project, then replies to the question. The boys discuss car radio repair as well as the use of AN fittings before the topic of Chris' dual exhaust conversion hits the table. The gauntlet is thrown down and the game is on!

This show starts with leaky and overtightened oil pan bolts, then delves into the ever-popular search methodology of finding car information on the Internet. Torx vs Allen head tools are discussed, and Ray takes Chris to task over buying cheap tools. Stuck oil filters, Chris' Tracker light issue and using E85 as race fuel round out the hour.

Ray recounts a recent job where he and another mechanic workedtogether and found a solution to a problem by putting their heads together. This week the boys have the pleasure of talking with their good friend Luke Tucker from the EZ RED company. Luke covers the new line of flexible magnetic tool organization and MatcoMan Brian calls in to back him up on the product line.

MatcoMan Brian joins the boys for their second hour of fundraising and riles Chris up with talks of fixing up his Audi Quattro, this leads to a love/hate discussion that's laughable. How to properly lubricate your hand tools comes up, as does following proper service procedures while working in the shop. A surprise pizza shows up in the studio when a show fan donates more than cash to the cause.

This years first hour of fundraising brings some great calls and topics. Ray gets a win light when the dash cluster for the C4 Corvette works, then long distance driving trips are discussed with a caller. Chris describes his frustration and solution to a fluid transfer problem, then speeding motorcycles on local highways readies the boys for hour #2.

Ray describes the electronic rebuilding process on a Corvette dash cluster, then explains why guys like hanging out at the U.D. in Queens so much. Chris relays his failed attempt at getting his Tracker DRL's to shut off, then complains about the errant hair and general schmooze found in used cars. Frozen bleed screws, Weber carburetorrebuilding & building model car kits round out this hour of fun.

Ray fell in love but don't worry, his wife isn't mad, it was with the Caddy CTS rental car he had on a recent road trip. Holley gaskets are discussed and displayed, and Chris talks about his snowblower carb issue and how he found a rare sticker for his Chrysler 300. Electronic parking brakes and the pains of working on a Volvo round out the show.
