There is nothing bad about money in and of itself, but the Bible tells us that we have to be very careful in our attitude towards it.

This week, in preparation for communion, Tim reminds us that life is precious.

The significant role that hospitality has played in the building of God’s Kingdom is undeniable. Why, then, have we largely abandoned this incredible means of realizing God’s kingdom “on earth as it is in heaven”? Probably because we have made hospitality something it was never intended to be.

This week in preparation for communion Tim reminds us that Jesus taught us to pray that His kingdom would come on earth.

The author of Hebrews encourages his readers to love each other as “brothers and sisters”. The church in Thessalonica was a model of love so we look to them for what it takes to be a loving church.

This week Tim asks about your Facebook status.  Is yours “living with God every day”?  Jesus’ mission was to die for us so that whether we live or die we can live with Him.

It is simplistic to assume that the God of the Mountain of Fear and the Mountain of Joy found in Hebrew 12 is somehow different. God never changes but He has made a way for us to celebrate in His presence, even though He is a “consuming fire”!

Hebrews 11:39-40, the conclusion of the author’s salute to the ancient heroes of the faith, reads like a riddle but the answer to that riddle is the one who unites the faithful of all generations.
