What makes a good lie?

Whether it was distribution, marketing, or some combination of the two, Fast Color only hit theaters in (maybe) 5 cities nationwide and didn't stay there long. It's a beautifully told intimate story about three generations of women working to bring together the broken pieces of a strained relationship, all while trying to remain safe and hidden in a collapsing world and chased by those who want to exploit the earth-shattering power they hold.

Can Tessa Thompson and Chris Hemsworth save an uninspired, cash grabbing, Lexus ad with the power of pure charisma? They sure do try. Join us as we try to parse through this perfectly fine movie.

What would you do to find a place to belong? For the Queer BIPOC in the NYC Ballroom community, it meant creating an entire world and choosing your own family to go with it. From that place of struggle and triumph, an entire culture was born and Paris Is Burning was the documentary that captured a few frames of that deep and vibrant world.
