Off Shore Tackle Podcast

We're headed to southern Lake Michigan to fish with Captain Jerry Link of Originator Charters on this month's Off Shore Tackle Podcast. Jerry talks about late season salmon and trout fishing off St. Joe. He says the crowds are down this time of year, but the fish are still there in good number. Link has great advice on targeting those fish right on through the fall. He also describes his technique for running Off Shore OR 12 boards and the bigger SST Pro Mag boards.

We're heading to Alabama this month on the Off Shore Tackle Podcast with Off Shore's Nick DeShano.  Nick talks about trolling for giant catfish on Wheeler Lake while fishing in a catfish tournament. He also talks about how the fishery has changed and why knowledge of that evolution is a key to success. The angler then describes why demand is growing for his custom painted baits.

We're talking with tournament angler, charter captain and professional walleye angler Randy Gaines this time on the Off Shore Tackle Podcast. Randy recently won the H2H tourney on Lake McConaughy in Nebraska. The veteran angler talks about the change in philosophy from tradition tourneys vs. the Head to Head events. He also describes how he won the contest by trolling single strand wire with small crankbaits behind Off Shore OR 12 boards. Dylan Nussbaum captured first place on Devil's Lake back in 2018 and he's been pushing hard ever since.
