It may be shocking to come to the realization that our personal salvation makes up only a little percentage of the content of the New Testament. Most of what Paul, James, Peter, and John write about centers around our need to be renewed after salvation. This is a process we refer to as sanctification. And we use that to get drunk on idols and become even more in debt and enslaved to sin while the rest of the world starves in want. Paul wraps up  his letter to the Romans  with a call to follow his life as he follows the life of Jesus. Paul directly challenges the Church at Rome to become partners with him in the Gospel of Jesus.
