This is part one of a new study called LIVE LIFE LOVED! It comes from an amazing question I received from one of our listeners. "What are some practices to help my "unbelief"? The hardest part is living like I'm loved...."Ephesians 5:1 says, "Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.” Notice that we don't imitate God to be loved by God... it starts with the reality that we are already loved! We then strive to look like Jesus, FROM His love not FOR His love. There's a world of difference! Today, we lay a foundation by comparing a TOURIST with an EXPLORER. Maybe instead of JUST inviting Jesus into our lives, we need to recognize that Jesus is inviting us into His life! 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.Romans 8:1 there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Colossians 1:13-14. “For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.”
