Am I as full of faith and expectation as I was the very first time I ever stepped into the Carolina Revival? If revival is not as big of a deal to you as it once was, it is time to make a correction. Yahweh make us hungry. You do not have to be in lack to be hungry. In the middle of abundance, choose hunger again. Grace to get your tears back, get your hunger back and get your awareness of His presence back.

Unknowing and Undoing in the Wilderness

Do you feel like you continually fail to measure up? If you attempt to go into devotion with doubts or questions of how He feels about you, you are setting yourself up for an unending cycle of disappointment. You have a God who is slow to anger, rich in love and good to all. When you fail don't run and hide from Him, run to Him as fast as you can. 

John 12:25. Whenever I thought of God calling me to lose my life I always thought of this in terms of discipline and sacrifice. A tremendous shift has occurred in my heart and now I am beginning to see the invitation to lose my life through the lens of beloved identity. Lose the narcissistic version of life that I have settled for and find the life Yahweh created me for.

Too often we have had illegitimate fathers, ministries or spiritual leadership put their fingerprints on us. As a result all we know how to do is obey the rules and how to color inside the lines and to make sure we don't rock the boat. But God designed you to be wild, undomesticated and authentic. Yahweh is bringing us back to a place of innocence, recovered trust and a clean slate so that He can then put His fingerprints all over us.

How Jesus conscious can we become? Christ centered worship generates expressions of affection greater than anything you have ever experienced. It is time to surrender our entitlement that tries to make ourselves the center of attention and make Jesus the focal point of our affection.

Luther's message was never "reformation." Reformation was a consequence of Luther's message. Initially, Luther had no idea what he was birthing but he knew he was exiting a system. Reformation started with an admittance that the current form was illegitimate. The Reformation was not exclusively a transformation of theological paradigms but it gave permission for men to re-think anything by way of the Spirit.

Religion caused us to stay away from one of Yahweh's favorite things: impossibilities. Could it be that we have missed opportunity after opportunity because we have avoided something that Yahweh specializes in? We have approached impossibilities with gifting rather than with Presence. Gifts never function appropriately without being mixed with Presence.

What are you holding on to? I have withheld from the Father because of fear I would be betrayed, abandoned, let down or rejected again. God is releasing grace to surrender 100%. There is no part of me that I am unwilling to trust Him with and nothing I am holding back and keeping to myself.

Authentic praise comes out of a people with thanksgiving continually in their mouth. Grumbling and complaining is a sign of entitlement. Choose to come out of isolation and independence and choose to live a life of extraordinary thanksgiving.
