Religion creates a culture of methods and as a result we have exchanged manifestations for these methods. Genuine transformation must be authenticated by way of having at its foundation a devotional ascent. Behavior modification is an inheritance of permission to ascend in devotion and devotion will modify behavior 100% of the time. If modified behavior comes as a consequence of methods or strategies you will live the rest of your life trying to maintain your modified behavior. Jesus never came to simply modify your behavior; He came to give you permission to murder the person that used to behave that way.

What if every moment is sacred? What if just me breathing is holy? I am so exclusively His that everything I do and everywhere I go is holy, holy, holy. Me laughing is worship. When I used to think of honoring my Presence encounter, I thought that it meant don't lose it. But remember the parable of the talents? Steward the One you have encountered to such a degree that you now actually generate encounters. 

The encounter created a perspective. The perspective shaped a value system and that value system generated both its own sound and language. Language creates culture and the culture of the Kingdom has its own language. The more we surrender to exclusivity the more we inherit the language that creates a culture.

Has loss caused you to settle for an inferior mountain? Never let what you lost keep you from what you were designed to redeem. Instead of weeping over what we lost, rejoice over what still remains and receive the grace to believe again. 

Don't ask God one more question until you have asked Him about your devotional inconsistency. Do not ask Him about your ministry or your future. Do not ask Him about your health, finances, your destiny or your dreams until you have dealt with this one underlying issue that absolutely uproots everything else: devotional inconsistency. It is time for you to finally say "yes" to the death that generates the resurrection life that takes you into a degree of devotion like you have not ever known before. 

Father's Day 2018. Matthew 9. 

There is no tribe of "Joseph" although he was possibly the most significant son of Jacob. However, two tribes of Israel are named after Joseph's sons. A man that has walked the way of the wilderness and is sufficiently conquered in beloved identity has no interest in naming anything after himself. I refuse to allow my own name to become a brand in ministry. Only slaves have brands. Rather than becoming a brand, I would rather become a father. I would rather have double and it show up in the next generation and be named after my sons. 

"As Pharaoh approached, the people of Israel looked up and panicked when they saw the Egyptians overtaking them. They cried out to the Lord, and they said to Moses, 'Why did you bring us out here to die in the wilderness?'"  Grace does not create distance between you and your slavery, grace comes to annihilate anything that would dare to hold the child of  the Most High God captive. 

If you cannot simplify your life, your focus will never be single. When we give ourselves to a simple lifestyle it begins to give us grace for singleness of focus. Go back to the real, basic, simple and singular obsession with tending the fire and see if God won't cause everything else to fall into place. 

John 9. A significant encounter births a supernatural transformation. As a result of an unexplainable change in us, religion rejects people who don't see things their way. If we do not find fathers during this rejection, it most often generates bitterness when the rejection was actually intended to permit in us an uncommon longing. The journey into wholeness will not go as it is intended to until the seeker has received the invaluable grace to throw himself at the feet of Jesus. 

Re-gripped. I've done submission but I've yet to do surrender and I am ready to go from submission to surrender. Do you want a covering? Do you just want protection? Do you just want health and prosperity? Or do you want to be gripped to a degree that nothing else matters anymore but to do everything I can to make sure I never escape His grip. As a friend of God, I want to be gripped in a way I have not ever been gripped before. 

"So Jacob served seven years for Rachel, and they seemed only a few days to him because of the love he had for her." What have we settled for as leaders because our impoverished longings would not enable us to linger? What we have settled for is not what we started out longing for. 

All of them were united in prayer, gripped with one passion, interceding night and day.

If only. If only. If only. It is time to drag our "if only" into the presence of the Lord. If only I had been born into a different family. If only my parent had not died prematurely. If only I didn't struggle with my image. If only my husband had not left me. If only Jesus had intervened. He is saying to you, "If you can dare to stare at Me in the middle of your 'if only' you will see that this story isn't over yet." The goal is not to have an easy life, but to have a trust in the middle of a life filled with "if only." 

Scientists are now learning how to "re-wild" our ecosystems. Ecosystems are now being re-wilded and it is being referred to as "Project Lazarus." We re-wild ecosystems by "re-homing" the native, undomesticated, displaced inhabitants. Many of our ecosystems that were in a massive state of decline are now experiencing what scientists are calling a "revival." A revival is coming to the ecosystems by way of re-homing the undomesticated original inhabitants back to where they were designed to be. Whenever we attempt to domesticate things that God intended to be wild, we begin to have a negative impact on the culture around us. 

Am I navigating by the formula or am I navigating by the Presence. Could this be the most significant question a leader ever asks? We have such a propensity as leaders to grab for a formula working well for someone else rather than staying committed to navigating by a Presence that causes us often to be judged and misunderstood within the very company of people we are called to lead. He doesn't want us consumed with ministry, the growth of the church or success. He wants us consumed with face-to-face communion. 

We are going to keep it about face-to-face. We aren't going to try to figure out how to exploit what has happened here into some type of selfish agenda. I send you into the hidden, secret place of face-to-face communion and may you be satisfied there, not with the measure of production, but with the greatness of the measure of Presence. May we know Him in April like we have never known Him before. 

The Road to Emmaus. Yeshua manifests Himself at least eleven different times to His followers after the Resurrection. We have been taught the extremely necessary revelation of the crucified life within our revival family over the past several years. As essential the revelation of the crucified life is in the journey of the seeker, we must recognize that it is imperative we understand that the crucified life is an access point and not a stopping point. The end goal of Yahweh for the kingdom man is not you crucified, but you resurrected.

Many believers today often confuse having faith in God with having trust in God. Faith in God is the confident belief that He is the sovereign Creator of all things and can and will do what He says. Trust is a willful choice and a deliberate action that can only grow out of your faith.
