  • Deceptive Faith, False Hope and Counterfeit Love | Obadiah 5-14 | January 25, 2026 | Mike Gibbons

    25/01/2026 Duração: 29min

Send us a textIn this message from Obadiah 5–14, we see a warning against deceptive faith, false hope, and counterfeit love—and a call to humble, Christlike repentance. The outline highlights three heart-level issues: pride (a deceptive faith, vv. 1–4), idolatry (a false hope, vv. 5–9), and uncharitableness (a counterfeit love, vv. 10–14). Each section points us to Jesus’ example of humility (Phil. 2:5–8), surrender to the Father’s will (Matt. 26:39, 42, 44), and the transforming power of the gospel that leads us to live out what matters most: faith, hope, and love—especially love (Titus 3:3; 1 Cor. 13:13).

  • The Daily Walk | 01.20.2026 | Isak Morehous | James 4:13-17

    20/01/2026 Duração: 02min

Send us a text13 Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”— 14 yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. 15 Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.” 16 As it is, you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil. 17 So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.

  • Work as Worship | Luke 3:12-16 | January 18, 2026 | Aaron T. Colyer

    18/01/2026 Duração: 34min

Send us a textThis message from Luke 3:12–16 asks how Sunday worship shapes Monday mission—because we don’t swap a “church hat” for a “work hat”; it’s the same identity lived out all week. John the Baptist tells tax collectors and soldiers not to abandon their jobs, but to do their work with integrity and God-honoring faithfulness, reminding us that God often calls us not to a new assignment but to greater faithfulness where we already are. From there, the sermon frames work as worship in four ways: (1) fulfilling God’s specific assignments in our jobs, homes, and schools; (2) serving the Lord and others with a whole-life posture of worship; (3) seeing the workplace as a primary place of spiritual formation and Christlikeness; and (4) doing our work in a way that displays God’s glory, whether in creative work, caregiving, teaching, labor, or everyday responsibilities. The invitation is simple: hope in Jesus and let His Lordship change the way you work.

  • Created for Work | Genesis 1:26-31, 2:15 | January 11, 2026 | Aaron T. Colyer

    11/01/2026 Duração: 38min

Send us a textIn “Created for Work,” Pastor Aaron walks through Genesis 1:26–31 (with Genesis 2:15 and 3:17–19) to remind us that God designed work as part of His good creation—not as a curse to endure, but a calling to steward.First, we work because we’re made in God’s image. Humanity is the “very good” climax of creation, given dignity and purpose to represent God’s character—through creativity, wisdom, justice, and love—in everyday life. Second, we work because God commands it: “be fruitful,” “multiply,” and “have dominion.” Adam’s task to “work and keep” the garden shows that God provides—and we steward His provision, skills, and assignments with faithful responsibility. Third, the sermon acknowledges the frustration of work after the Fall, but emphasizes that our ability to work as God intended is limited, not lost—and Christ can redeem our attitude and endurance, even in difficult workplaces. Finally, we’re called to work hard and rest well, following God’s rhythm of rest (Gen. 2:1–3), and to work with

  • The Daily Walk | 01.05.2026 | Aaron T. Colyer | Ecclesiastes 2:20-25

    05/01/2026 Duração: 02min

Send us a text20 So I turned about and gave my heart up to despair over all the toil of my labors under the sun, 21 because sometimes a person who has toiled with wisdom and knowledge and skill must leave everything to be enjoyed by someone who did not toil for it. This also is vanity and a great evil. 22 What has a man from all the toil and striving of heart with which he toils beneath the sun? 23 For all his days are full of sorrow, and his work is a vexation. Even in the night his heart does not rest. This also is vanity.24 There is nothing better for a person than that he should eat and drink and find enjoyment in his toil. This also, I saw, is from the hand of God, 25 for apart from him who can eat or who can have enjoyment?

  • Work as Unto the Lord | Colossians 3:22-25 | January 4, 2026 | Aaron T. Colyer

    04/01/2026 Duração: 47min

Send us a textThis message casts vision for how we walk into Monday morning, whether that looks like a job, school, retirement, or raising kids, because that’s your current calling. The sermon challenges the “two-hat” mindset (church hat on Sunday, work hat on Monday) and frames the passage around three questions: Who do you work for? How should you work? Why do you work? Paul’s instructions to bondservants are set in their historical context (not equating to American slavery), pointing us to a bigger truth: no matter your employer or role, your true Master is the Lord Jesus Christ. With that foundation, we’re called to work with character (integrity and a God-honoring witness), with significance (serving others and adding value as we love our neighbor), and with purpose (seeing our labor as a calling from the Lord—not just a paycheck or a rat race). Finally, the sermon urges us to work with the right motive, remembering that what’s done for Christ has eternal weight; and that our “Monday mission” is fueled b
