Urgent Church

I don’t know about you but when I am going through a hard situation that last thing that I want to hear from a close friend or someone while I am at church is “Everything happens for a reason.” It sounds good but without further explanation it misses the point on how God is at work in our lives. Check out this message and be encouraged!

In church we sometimes have these cliche sayings and feel good one liners, but sometimes even though they may make sense and feel good can be completely of course to the gospel. In this series we are walking through a few of those sayings we like to use the most.

So many times we come up with this fun and fancy sayings in the church that feel good to share with others. When in reality we don't realize where it came from and upon further inspection we can soon realize just because it sounds good doesn't make it true.

There are many things that we have been led to believe that God has said yet it is no where found in scripture. My hope is that this time of study together in Gods word we might sure up your faith and that we would stand together upon the power of scripture.

A lot of us have gone to God about what we are facing. The problem the situation, the pain, the hurt, the grief, the lack of resources to provide for your family. A lot of us have gone to God and have heard this same answer, “NOT YET” How do you handle God's answer when it is Not Yet?

I don’t know about you but when life is bad it can cause us to question the goodness of God. It is natural for that to happen. We find ourselves asking the question, "can anything good come from there?" In this message pastor Mike walks us through three reminders to help us on this journey of faith.

Easter is an incredible opportunity to see God do the unexpected in our lives. He surprised everyone when HE got up out of that grave, and He still surprises people with all that He continues to do to draw people unto Himself with His love and grace.

Sunday Pastor Mike preached about the importance and priority of our praise. Sometimes we get busy and distracted by the craziness of this world but that shouldn't be a reason to withhold our praise to God.
