Urgent Church

This was a special day at Urgent. We gathered together around the vision that God has given our house to plant a seed to see it come to pass. We are confident that when we plant something in the kingdom of God that it is God who brings the harvest. Many times we find ourselves in a season where we can't see the difference we are making, but in God's timing every seed we plant will produce. Pastor Mike encouraged us to stay faithful even though we may not see it God is faithful!

Sunday we had the honor and privilege to have Bishop Mike Ainsworth sr bring a message about generosity. He shared personal stories of how God has provided in his life, and showed us how the faithfulness of God will always come through when you put your trust in Him.

In part two of return to sender Pastor Mike talks about how it is impossible to serve both God and money. Wealth in itself is not bad, but when we begin to love it more than God it becomes our master. In this message we learn more about how to avoid the spiritual hazard of trusting in our finances more than God by studying how God is our provider and everything we need comes from His hand.

In part one of this four part series pastor Mike talks about how we have been called to steward all that God has given us to share the gospel with the world.

Pastor Mike has a special sermon that God has given him out of Hosea 10:12. Come be with us and celebrate Jesus as King! He is actively working to break up the hardened places in our lives so that His glory might shine through!

Pastor Mike preached a powerful message about how are church has been prophetically declared to become an open heaven for all people. In our best heart and effort to pursue this kind of ministry Pastor Mike laid out three ways we can experience an open heaven in our lives right now!

Pastor and Author Douglas Small was with us Sunday and delivered a powerful word about the power of devoted prayer. Listen in and be encouraged.

This month we have been seeing people take next steps into serving and joining the dream team here at Urgent. When we start this conversation and talk about doing something great for God the same conversation seems to soon follow; “What is the Plan?” In this message Pastor Mike talks about how to know God's plan for your life.

During this message Judy Ainsworth, pastor Mike's grandmother, preached a special message about how to be a fantastic grandparent. The Bible encourages us to honor our grandparents, and that they should allow their influence to inspire a spiritual inheritance.

One of the most controversial teachings in the church is the understanding of what scripture says about the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Pastor Mike explains through scripture what Jesus said He would send from the Father to the disciples on pentecost.
