Whenever you hear someone give a talk, you'll always find the speaker tell you several stories. If not, I bet you'll find yourself bored and yawning.  The best stories captivate their audience and can place the listener in a state of psychological "narrative transport". Our news today is full of stories! Every heard the term "mnemonic device?" That's a way to remember things using acronyms and sometimes stories to go with the acronyms. So please join us Tuesday, April 23rd, at 8pm to tell stories or mnemonic devices that made us remember things or have captivated us as children or even as adults. We'll also share some studies we've found how effectively storytelling has been used to make our message stick.

Similar research also suggest that it may be useful for patients with traumatic brain injury and as therapeutic intervention for problems associated with aging. Please join us, Lyn Yancha, LMP and Andy Mayor (musician), for a discussion on how music played a healing part in their lives. Please call the live call-in number with your stories to share.
