Sunday 4/6/2014, 6 pm Pacific Time, our special guest is Grandmaster Daniel Harmon of Koga Ryu Ninjutsu. 35 years of self-defense training in multiple different styles. Grandmaster in Koga Ryu Ninjutsu and was trained by the Honzawa family from Tokyo, Japan. Mr. Harmon spent one year studying the psychology Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) under different psychologist, to better understand rape victims and to better equipped to help them in their self-defense training. Mr. Harmon is an expert in over 25 different weapons. ? Mr. Harmon also enjoys Japanese history of any kind, but especially loves the history of Koga Ryu Ninjutsu and the mysteries contained within. Mr. Harmon also tries to live by the old Japanese culture as much as he can.

The Martial Arts world has a term for martial arts school chains: "Mc Dojo". Some describe a McDojo as having a litany of courses like a menu, flashy marketing, and expensive contracts. Other describe them as anything outside traditional martial arts that runs the operation like a business instead of a Dojo or has shady business practices. The term "McDojo" turns the stomachs of many a martial arts teacher, but is running a business all that bad? Can teachers wear flashy uniforms so long as their curriculum is solid and has a bonafide lineage? We want to hear from our listeners. Call in to add your two cents!
