Restita & Robert attended the comeback of DragonFest, and spoke with attendees at the event, including James Lew, Bill Ryusaki, Cheryl Wheeler, Master Ken from the "Enter the Dojo" series, and many more! This event was the comeback after almost 10 uears of public absence. Originally founded by Master Gerald Okumura, Its back with a bang, hosted by Michael Matsuda of the Martial Arts History Museum. Mental health is grossly overlooked and if it is addressed there is so much stigma attached to it many fear even approching the subject, which means the suffer in silence or are misdiagnosed or mistreated.  It is important to understand what health is because you need some standard by which to judge whether you’ve established a state of health effective enough to move on. There is healing that takes place on the physical body, but there’s also the mental body, the emotional body, and the psychic body – which are parts of the Limited Self. Beyond the Limited Self is the synergy of the limited components which is the Spiritual Self. It is also in need of healing. Beyond that Spiritual Self are the Soul and Higher Consciousness, which are healthy.
