Selections from the Mess is a series of outtakes from Murphy's Magic Mess on KZUM in Lincoln, NE. The Mess has been airing for over 19 years, the five years previous it was called Spiral Dance. In the 19th edition of Musica Pagani, rebooted, RevKess brings you some NEW new age music for December 2013. Some of the tracks are from new CDs received for October and November. Artists include Kathryn KAye, The Morgan Sisters, Isadar, Paul Spaeth, Akasa, Forrest Smithson, Get Tribal, Irinushka, Ricky Kej, Peter Sterling, Uwe Gronau, Cosmos Frequency, DAvid Nevue and Bill Leslie. As the winter holidays approach in the Northern climes, RevKess chose to start out with a small sampling of Christmas and Yule time music. From there he moved into some beautiful instrumentals followed by some vocals and drums. Returning to the instrumentals in the second half of the show, RevKess wraps things up with some Celtic sounds from Scotland.

Part 2 of the 18th edition of Musica Pagani, the rebooted series, is here for your listening pleasure. In this part, RevKess brings you more music from FishBird along with Leigh Anne Hussey's unreleased projects of Mother Night - Nuit and Ugltown's unfinished demo. Along for the fun are Frenchy and the Punk and Rosin Coven.

It has been a while since RevKess put together an episode of Musica Pagani. #18 in the rebooted series is a two parter. With some recent changes to the PMPC hosting with BTR the duration of recorded programs is dependent upon the amount of data in the uploaded file. We don't want to bore you with the details, but in order to get a full two hours of enjoyment this time around it will be in two parts, each approximately an hour each. This first part features music from FishBird, Kenny Klein's 2013 touring band project and artists such as Omnia, Wendy Rule, Spiral Dance (featuring Damh the Bard) and Rosin Coven. Mostly live pieces, but all with a distinctly rock flare.

Due to an unexpected scheduling conflict, Lupa has had to reschedule for later in December. RevKess and KaliSara have moved the discussion of Faith Vs Logic ahead by a couple of weeks. In this episode they muse about how faith and logic sometimes clash, how certain conservative beliefs can interfere with the acceptance of scienitic fact and how sometimes science proves what Pagans and magic practioners have known for a very long. We would like to stress at this time that the content of the show is no way intended to bash any religion, denomination or the followers of such. Going out on a limb here, KaliSara and RevKess tackle the idea of writing about the Gods and religious practices in a fictional setting. Many authors have dabbled in playing with the Gods when they write their novels and short stories, notably Neil Gaiman in his American Gods. Your hosts will talk about some of the implications of fictionalizing the Gods and various religious practices.

In recent days we have seen many changes come to the world as we know it. The loss of life, the changing face of the planet and drama throughout the world. In this week's edition of PWN Zaracon and RevKess will talk about some of that. The passing of Olivia Robertson comes to mind, the tornado in Illinois and the typhoon in the Phillipines also come to mind. And the drama! Let me tell you!

It is the month of Thanksgiving, in the United States. All over Facebook we have seen friends and family displaying their attitude of gratitude with their 30 days of Thankfulness. In this edition of PMP, KaliSara and RevKess talk about living with an attitude of gratitude, not just during the winter holiday season, but year round.

After a longer than planned absence, both RevKess and Zaracon return to the Pagan Weekly News. Join them as they discuss some of the recent goings-on in the Pagan world. From politics to religion, from science and health to the other wordly, PWN brings you a unique Pagan perspective on the world today.

KaliSara and RevKess embark on a new series, Crafty Pagans. Join them as they talk with creative Pagans from around the world about what it is that they do. Everything from singers, songwriters, authors and visual artists to bakers, cooks, and all manner of creative people. This first in the series features Lorelei and her wonderful breads. Many shows and articles talk about synchronicity and how it works for the better, but few have wandered into the land of how it sometimes works in the negative or at least in what appears to be the negative. In this edition of PMP KaliSara and RevKess will touch on that as well as spend some time talking about how to deal with a Mercury retrograde. November 1 started NaNoWriMo for 2013. Once again your hosts are competing. Tune into the latter part of the show to learn more about NaNo and how you can participate.

Kalisara will be joined by Lindsay once more to talk about one of their favorite subjects: Dark Goddesses. And just in time for Samhain!

Cathryn Platine of the Maetreum of Cybele visits KaliSara and RevKess to discuss the ongoing troubles the Maetreum is facing in attaining property tax exempt status for their "church" in Upstate New York. Tune in to hear about their legal struggles as well as the physical harassment that they face on a regular basis. Shauna Aura Knight may be joining to chime in about her own experiences while visiting the Maetreum earlier this fall.

It is the month of Samhain and KaliSara thought it would be a good idea to talk about dealing with the Dark. Not just the absence of light or the Dark side of the Gods, but the Dark that is within each and every one of us. Tune in to this recorded segment to hear KaliSara and RevKess talk about facing, battling and ultimately embracing the Dark part of ourselves.  

Shauna Aura Knight returns to talk with RevKess and KaliSara about Pagan Pride. She's had the joy of attending a number of those events this year and will share some of her experiences with our listening audience.

On Sunday 6 October 2013 our friend *K8 from Murphy's Magic Mess on KZUM filled in for Darla on 7th Wave. She did a Chakra themed show and recorded it for us to hear.
