What is your name? It's a very simple question but it can be loaded with a lifetime of baggage. In today's message, Dr. Mitch Arbelaez surveys the life of Jacob and shows us that the complications and disfunctions in our relationships have an awful lot to do with us not being honest about ourselves. What is your name? Who are you, really? It's time to close the gap between who we believe are and who God has called us to be.

This Sunday we began a new series on relationships and Pastor Chris, being in true form, just tells it like it is. Just a warning, this message deals with some very serious adult content, namely sexual relations and pornography, and is not suitable for young children. Aside from some really great encouragement and biblical marriage counsel, Chris shares some staggering statistics regarding pornography and it's proliferation into our society. Not just here in The United States, but around the world as well. If you or anyone you know is struggling with this epidemic, this message is can be a great resource and encouragement.

It's commonly accepted that we would say thank you after someone said or did something nice for us or served us. If anything, it's just good manners! But how about this idea of giving thanks before something is ever done for us? Or better said, through faith, we give thanks and worship to God for what He is going to do; for the place you're in now, because He is worthy of it. Pastor Chris is teaching about worship today, and if you open your heart to this message, you just may come away with a different understanding of what worship is and what it does in the heart and life of the one surrendered to God.

Spring is in full-swing here in Northeast Florida. Lawns are becoming green again, flowers are blooming and trees have shed their winter coats for new buds and leaves. Now this is not a new philosophy, Solomon admonished us in Proverbs 4:23 to "guard our heart", or literally, guard how we think.
