    Hear this live recap of the #PhysEdChopped Challenge, a social event and collaborative competition at #SHAPENashville! Ten groups of teachers competed in a three-round contest. Each round (Instant Activity, Skill Lesson, and Review/Closure) featured a wacky combination of PE equipment. The teams were expected to use all of the equipment to create a game or activity that fit within the theme of each round. Four judges evaluated each activity based on Creativity, Use of the Equipment, and Presentation. Teams were “chopped” from the competition at the end of each round until one team was named “The #PhysEdChopped Champions!”

He was named Pennsylvania AHPERD Health Educator of the Year in 2003 and Coach of the Year in 2012. In addition to giving numerous presentations around the country, Tim also had the honor of providing testimony before the US Congress in February 2004.
