    17/11/2013 Duração: 33min

How we respond to pressure shows us what condition we are in spiritually. Learn the 3 ways pressure tests us, and 3 ways to stay out of stress. Scripture Passages: Mat. 6:25; Deut. 8:17; 2 Cor. 1:8

  • Pressure Vs. Stress (Part 1)

    10/11/2013 Duração: 41min

Is the pressure in your life turning into stress? Cause there is a difference between the two. One is used by God to get you to move and the other is used by the enemy to destroy you. When we are under pressure, we are able to give beyond our ability. When we are under stress, we are paralyzed. If we don't pay attention to whom we are serving, we will end up serving the wrong thing- usually yourself or someone else. Scripture Passages: 2 Cor. 8; Mark 6:31-32; 2 Peter 1:3; Acts 5:29; Phil.1:6; 2 Thes.1:11; Mat. 6:25

  • Eyes Wide Open

    18/07/2013 Duração: 46min

Your first source of authority and love comes from your parents/whomever raised you- and if you grew up in a dysfunctional house (which many of us have) your understanding of love and authority will be skewed. Living in that kind of atmosphere causes you to develop misperceptions of what true love and authority really is. And when the time comes for you to build a relationship with God - you in turn unknowingly place those preconceived notions onto God too. You probably will either see Him as tender/loving or an unyielding judge. Neither are correct however. If we only see Him as tender & loving without justice and truth- we're in trouble. And likewise, if only as justice & truth without loving compassion- that's incomplete as well. It's more a combination of both. So we must RE-LEARN who God is and our true identity in Him (as a people loved unconditionally by Him). Only then can we begin to build a foundation of relating to others in the way Jesus modeled for us.Scripture Passages: P

  • Gate or Door

    07/07/2013 Duração: 36min

The passages in this sermon you may think you know very well, but I'm willing to bet you've understood them incorrectly your whole life...(just give it a listen and it will change your entire perspective on the Bible and what you may have learned growing up.) You might actually come to see that many biblical translations have translated God's Word incorrectly. And unless you study the greek/hebrew meanings behind those "english" words you may be incorrectly assuming what a passage means and missing the whole point altogether.Scripture Passages: (Differences shown between NIV and NKJV translations)Luke 13:22-27; Mat. 7:13-14; Deut. 16:18; John 10:1-2; John 10:7-10; Luke 18:18; Hosea 2:15; Rev. 3:8

  • God Leads His People

    16/06/2013 Duração: 39min

Did you know that when God was leading the Israelites out of Egypt (and from years of slavery) God purposely avoided the short route and took them on a detour leading them to a dead end road!? You may even feel that God's done the same with you, and now you're in a place that seems like a desert and there's no way out. You've probably even questioned Him and gotten angry and confused as the Israelites did. But do not be afraid! His plan is always to prosper you and not to harm you (though it may be a difficult place now). Choose instead to live by FAITH in the unseen plan and watch Him part the sea before you and drown your enemies behind you! "Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians (your enemy) you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still."Scripture Passages: Ex.13:17-18, 21;Ex.14:2,8,31; Ex.15:22

  • Jesus is our Pitch

    09/06/2013 Duração: 46min

Come and listen to the (true) story of Noah's Ark in a totally new way... the way God intended you to understand it- as a representation of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Each and every tiny detail of the Ark, from the wood used to the design, size, and even the pitch (aka- the sticky black tar substance used to seal the wood) will take on a whole new meaning as you begin to see Jesus as the ark of safety and refuge. For the Lord's unmerited favor (grace) is first mentioned with Noah- and it's by that grace through faith and unto works that ALL are saved.Scripture Passages: Mat.24:37; Gen. 6:5-21; Gen. 8:4; Eph. 2:8-10; Rom. 3:22; Heb. 11:7; Gen. 7:1; Gen. 9:1; 2 Pet. 3:3-12; Mat. 5:5

  • Then Their Eyes Were Opened (Part 2)

    05/05/2013 Duração: 35min

A continuation of last weeks riveting sermon...Do you truly understand the depths of partaking in the holy sacrament of communion? We need to be serious when we have the bread & cup in our hands. Jesus said "THIS IS MY BODY AND BLOOD"...not just a symbol but the POWER OF LIFE- to LITERALLY restore you- physically, mentally and spiritually. Do not let the simplicity fool you! The things of God are simple but powerful beyond your wildest imaginations.Scripture Passages: Gen. 3:6, Ps. 105, Ex. 12:1-13, John 13:1-18; 18:28; 19:14, John 6:26

  • Then Their Eyes Were Opened (Part 1)

    28/04/2013 Duração: 36min

Do you truly understand the depths of partaking in the holy sacrament of communion? The whole fall of man happened by the eating (of the tree of good & evil). And it was and continues to be our free choice to eat of- you can choose to stay bound by the law or restored through grace by choosing to eat instead of The Tree of Life (Jesus). See, He has come to make all things new!Scripture Passages: Gen. 2:16, Gen. 3, Luke 24, John 19:25, John 6:53

  • Grace

    14/10/2012 Duração: 26min

The original Hebrew names of Yahweh (YHVH) and Abraham & Sarah may very well be the most extraordinary names ever constructed (and most definitely not created by man). Over 3,000 yrs ago, even before the Old Testament was written, God put deep spiritual meanings into the names He gave them. This is a mind blowing look into those Hebrew letters.Abram= אברםAbraham= אברהםSarai= שרי Sarah= שרה Scripture Passages: Genesis Chapters 12,15 & 17
