Episode 016 - Samuel Priest
11/08/2018 Duração: 30minThis is Love and Laughs with Ramiro, my name is Ramiro Lynch. Samuel Priest I met Samuel Priest, I believe for the first time, at an open mic in Villa Park, Josephine's. The first thing Samuel Priest wants you to know is that he wants you to come to the Laugh Factory show The Crowd Work Show on August 19th and he has an offer you can't refuse but you have to listen to the podcast to claim the offer. Samuel is a stand up comedian in Chicago and talks to me about dating, relationships, and his opinions on tantric sex (I asked him about that and he gave me an answer, I don't think that was a thing in his mind before the podcast). Please relax, seat back and enjoy my podcast with Samuel Priest, who is @samuel.priest on instagram. Also, check out his weekly show at Alive One in Chicago, called Dead Comedy. It's a great show and it's free, so it's a no brainer. Enjoy the podcast! Also, check me out on instagram @ramicomedy and at my show Immigrant Comedy Experience (Spanglish Edition) on 8/31/18 at 10 pm. Enj

And yes they are funny, very funny. Anyways, you can also find Nacho if you search YouTube under the name "Nacho Arana". Yes, I am being an idiot. I met Nacho at his home in Saavedra, Buenos Aires. He shared with me a cup of Nespresso, as well as his experience being a newly minted "Professional Comedian". He has been at it for 8 years and he tells me about his transition to becoming a professional comedian, his experience with marriage and subsequent divorce, as well as how he met his girlfriend. The story is out of a movie script, it's very romantic. Nacho is now father to Felipe (one of the cutest babies ever conceived), and he is proud owner of a dog, the dog's name i

Episode 012 - Cliff Zimowski Part 2
15/01/2018 Duração: 01h18sThis is Cliff Zimowski Part 2 podcast. I think at this point Cliff will be one of the regulars of the show, his life is a lot more colorful than mine. In this conversation (which we had at Counter Coffee, shout out to Counter Coffee), we chatted about his last trip to Montreal, Canada, his drug dealer friend aka Steve (that's not his real name), his friend Tony who sends him videos of himself having sex (that's not his real name), how he goes for the food even when he is on cocaine, and how this might be the last time that he goes to Montreal on this type of trip. I talk about my less than optimal experience in "dating" and I become vulnerable. You can reach out to me via twitter or instagram @ramicomedy The music of this podcast is by soundcloud.com/gbeats

He was one of the first comics to reach out and shake my hand and say hi when I started doing stand up. His style of stand up is very effective and during one of his last sets, I noticed that he was doing material about his relationships so I was glad we connected to talk about his experience with breakups and he explains why he is very knowledgeable about the return policy for diamond rings at Jared The Galleria of Jewelry. Episode 001 - Bobby Bienek
31/12/2017 Duração: 37minI met Bobby Bienek during a Second City stand up comedy class. Bobby is really good at riffing (improvising in stand up comedy) and also really good at being a practicing lawyer during the day. A little known fact about Bobby is that he is from Palatine Illinois. Bobby gave me a masterclass on relationships, however, I messed up and recorded only the last 25 minutes of our 1 hour encounter. That is how silly I am. Bobby was gracious enough to be my first podcasting victim and he even dared to allow me to drive him to his home after the podcast and we recorded the last 8 ish minutes of the podcast in my car, where we talk about how Karaoke could be a valueable tool in anyone's dating arsenal. Please relax, seat back and enjoy my podcast with Bobby Bienek.

Episode 006 - Ellen Wesley on Being an ER doctor, Being Married and Premature Sexual Advances
20/11/2017 Duração: 52minI met Ellen Wesley through Second City, while we were both taking the stand up 201 class. Ellen is an ER Doctor and was very generous with me by sharing her personal story. Ellen was married twice and tells me what is like when guys on dating apps show their sexual intentions way too early. Unbeknownst to me, Ellen at one time had regular stage time as a stand up comic in Los Angeles at The Comedy Store and continues to do stand up regularly. Onicia is from the island of St. Maarten. I am too old to remember facts, I thought for some time that she was from Haiti for some reason. Part of her biographical information include the fact that she graduated with an MFA in writing from Northwestern University and that she is happily married. Onicia is solely responsible for me being content being single, for teaching me that I needed to be more of a pimp in the dating phase. Please enjoy my podcast with Onicia Muller.

Episode 004 - Angel Garcia on Moving away from Houston to Chicago, Discovering Stand-Up Comedy, Break-Up and Healing
08/11/2017 Duração: 01h06minI met Angel Garcia while we were both doing an open mic and later we were both doing guest stand up spots at Joe's on Weed St. He recorded my set with my phone from the back of the club. We bonded at that time and we later met at a couple of open mics. Angel is originally from Houston and lives in Lakeview (specifically Boystown). I am such an idiot that I assumed that he was gay based on the fact that he lives in Boystown. I have a lot of growing up to do. Angel was kind enough to share a really personal story about his past that includes a breakup, heavy alcohol use and recovery. We talk about being friends with members of the opposite sex and again I show how much I need to evolve. Please relax, seat back and enjoy my podcast with Angel Garcia.

Episode 003 - Estephany Guzman on Coming out as Gay, Dating and Sex.
08/11/2017 Duração: 48minI know Estephany Guzman because she produces and hosts shows and open mics in the Chicago area that incorporate stand up comedy and other forms of performance like music and spoken word. She is a very funny performer and her comedy showcases her point of view of what it feels to be a young immigrant. Estephany shared with me what it was like coming out at 19 years old as queer, her dating experiences, why she is not on dating apps and what she would wear on a first date. Please enjoy my podcast with Estephany Guzman.

Episode 002 - Cliff Zimowski on Sex Tourism and Hating Selfies
08/11/2017 Duração: 38minI met Cliff Zimowski while taking a stand up class at The Annoyance Theater. When I heard his jokes I doubled up, I almost bust out my belly laughing. It's safe to say that his comedic sensibility is on the darker side. When he offered to be on my podcast I was glad because I know he is very honest with his views on everything from romance (he does not do romance), dating (he doesn't do it) , and having kids (he doesn't have any). He had a lot to say about sex tourism, which was enlightening to say the least. Our mutual friend Johnny Calamos made a couple of cameos during the recording of this podcast because he was at Second City at the time we recorded this podcast. Johnny is a Chicago comedian who took the same class that Cliff and I took at Annoyance and as luck would have it, we were at Second City at the same time I was recording this podcast with Cliff (very serendipitous!). Please relax, sit back and enjoy my podcast with Cliff Zimowski.
