Everybody wants to be able to do what they love and eventually turn that thing into greatness. Sometimes You don’t even know what it will take to get to that greatness and all you can focus on is the final product! Not the ones where our houses sit side by side, involving neighbors and all that stuff; this isn't based on geographic location but as I'm sure you've guessed it, peoples passions.  How when you truly dive into your passions you begin to build a community around yourself. People with the same goals and ambitions. They will hold you up when you feel weak and they will hold you on your shoulders when you're victorious! We must dive into our communities if we want to succeed in what we do. Without them, we wont have a support system. Nobody who truly understand whats you're going though. Guys, big news. We made it Episode SIX! Amazing stuff.    In this episode I discuss the importance of discovery, using an awful analogy of a corner.  This idea is,most times we all believe we live our lives on a path. Our goal is to try and make this path as straight as possible, avoiding any bumpy roads or unknown CORNERS we may have to face.  How do we round these corners with confidence? Guys! Welcome to Episode #005 of Hohm Is Where The Heart Is! This is a very special episode to me because its our very first interview!! We will be interviewing Chris Fuhst (my brother), diving into his passion and what he calls his Hohm. He finds comfort and warmth in the outdoors. He enjoys getting away from the hectic everyday routine, laying under the starts with nothing but the world in front of him.  In this interview we focus on his passion for Rock Climbing. He says while he's on the rock theres no other place he'd rather be. This is his Hohm, ladies and gentlemen. This is the place he can truly get lost in the emotion that floods his body.  With this passion, he chose to get a job at REI, so he could meet some like minded people. And this he did. You'll be pulled down roads youve never gone down before, forcing yourself to jump into things you've never done.  Discovery is one of the many extraordinary things you'll unravel when you put your head down, and shoot for the stars.  We all have dreams, and the roots of the dreams lies our passions. In episode #003 Jeremy talks about the courage it takes to follow your passion.  When pursuing what you love, fear is going to be your biggest enemy. Its hard. Its hard put yourself out there in front of everyone you know with the chance of looking like a fool.  We have to overcome these fears and follow our hearts. We have to do what we love regardless of what other people might think;including friends and family. Your passion is yours, no-body elses. In Episode #002 Jeremy talks about his personal views on how we should define passion.  After nights of researching this single word their wasn't any definition or explanation that he really fell in love with. These "experts" were using formals to discover your passion, which included things like interests, purpose and practice.  So he wants to have his own conversation to give passion, a unique and more personal definition.  Passion isn't something you can just define with JUST words. In this episode Jeremy talks about the difference in the words "home" and "hohm".    Hohm, isnt the roof over your head, but the pinnacle of emotion while doing what you love. Inside those moments you experience emotions that are so familiar BUT so unique to you, at the same time.  Their similar because you can compare those feelings to your house!
