We also discuss one of his buddy Josh Hamilton's only starring roles, The House of Yes (1997), a wacky picture with Parker Posey front and center. Just felt like throwing Josh a bone I guess! Wow Ethan once again surprises us when we think we're on hiatus! This time he showed up in the excellent 'FX on Hulu' show RESERVATION DOGS, which I was thrilled to finally watch. We were tipped off by friend of the show Rachel Attias so of course she had to join us! He's playing Elora's dad and he's great! So is the rest of the show! It's not long, go watch it! We're back with a quick update from the Toronto International Film Festival, where I saw Ethan's new movie Wildcat! It's... well... it's not amazing. But that's okay! He'll get there next time! We talk about his directorial projects, his bus trip to the festival, Almodóvar, and Beetlejuice 2. Keep Hawke-ing the skies!

Yee-haw! We got our hands on the new Pedro Almodovar short film STRANGE WAY OF LIFE, starring Ethan and Pedro Pascal as gay cowboys reuniting after twenty years! There's horses, hats, guns, great jackets, and... tender neck kisses??? Nathan Kamal (@welostnathan) joins us to discuss Ethan's outfits, the flashback boys, and Almodovar as a bratty sub! Ethan's a tattoo artist named Nat in this! We wanted to have this in the Cameo Extravaganza but we couldn't find it! But it's here now, and it's not very good. But he's got a barbed wire forehead tattoo, so that's fun. With this we will be entering a months-long hiatus, one that could actually end at any time. Which is not that different than how we've operated the past few years. But when he has a new project out, we will be there! And so will you! Keep Hawke-ing the skies!
