A Treasure Deserving of Devotion
28/12/2025 Duração: 29minPsalm 119:105-112 - Speaker: Josh MacAvoy - As we come to the end of the year, we will wrap up by looking at a passage of Scripture that invites us to pause and consider God’s word as a whole; considering how we view it, why we trust it, and how we respond to it. Over the past year as a church, we have spent countless hours reading, hearing, singing about, and responding to God and his word. As we look ahead to the coming year, it is fitting to slow down and reflect on the very word to which we are devoted. In our shortened post-Christmas service, we will look to God and his word together. We look forward to what God will show us as we gather. To prepare, please read Psalm 119:105–112. Pray that God’s word would be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path. And pray that as we enter a new year, with all that lies ahead, we would do so with an ear to God‘s voice and lives following him.

An Inexpressible Gift
24/12/2025 Duração: 12min2 Corinthians 8:9 - Speaker: Lukus Counterman - Every Christmas has its “must-have” gifts—but this message points to a gift that outshines them all. Drawing from 2 Corinthians 8–9, this sermon explores why Jesus is called God’s inexpressible gift: the eternal Son who became poor so we could be made rich. You’ll hear why the incarnation is the greatest act of generosity in history, how its purpose is our forgiveness and eternal inheritance, and why grace—not obligation—was the motive behind it all. Amid the noise of the season, this is a clear, compelling invitation to receive the greatest gift ever given.

Saved from Sinking
21/12/2025 Duração: 37minPsalm 130:1-8 - Speaker: Lukus Counterman - We are just days away from Christmas but that doesn’t mean everyone is enjoying joy and peace. As a matter of fact, some people feel like their sinking – sinking relationally, sinking financially, sinking spiritually. In Psalm 130, the author writes about the depths of life but then points us to our only hope. Wherever you are this Christmas, “hope in the Lord!”

The Perfect King
14/12/2025 Duração: 37minPsalm 72 - Speaker: Will Galkin - Psalm 72 begins with King David praying that his son would be a good and righteous ruler. But it is not long into the psalm before the reader realizes that Solomon, or any other king, could never fully live up to what David is praying for. The very idealism of the prayer pushes us to look beyond every earthly ruler for its fulfillment. When Psalm 72 is read in light of the Abrahamic and Davidic covenants, it becomes clear that David’s prayer can be fulfilled only in Christ. He alone is the rightful object of all praise, because he is the King who rules with righteousness, brings lasting peace, governs with compassion, and is worthy of all glory.

Proven Ministry, Proper Hearts
07/12/2025 Duração: 38min2 Corinthians 6:3-13 - Speaker: Lukus Counterman - Paul has had a strained relationship with the church of Corinth. They were closed off and resentful towards him. They held Paul in suspicion and kept him at arm’s length even though he had given so much for them. In 2 Corinthians 6:3-13 the apostle highlights the marks of his ministry and emphasizes its proven character. He wasn’t some fly-by-night huckster. He wasn’t fleecing them for his own profit. Instead, he endured great hardship on their account and remained faithful to the gospel task before him. He was a servant of God with proven ministry among them, and in return he asked them to open their hearts. He wanted to be reconciled to the church once again and experience unhindered affection. There are so many practical lessons in this text for us this season – lessons about endurance in the service of others, and reconciliation in our relationships with others. May the Lord lead us into his truth and teach us his ways as we gather this weekend to hear hi

Gospel Ministry
30/11/2025 Duração: 44min2 Corinthians 5:11-6:2 - Speaker: Lukus Counterman - In 2 Corinthians 5, Paul explains his rationale for not losing heart in the face of adversity. He reasons that even if death overtakes him, the great Victor will raise him up and give him a glorified body. That is a far superior option in Paul’s mind. But as he waits, he continues to engage in gospel ministry. He wants his motives to be right and his message to be right. So, as we continue looking into God’s word this weekend, may we be ambassadors and fellow workers for his glory. May we proclaim a message of good news until our last breath.

Our Future With Christ
23/11/2025 Duração: 47min2 Corinthians 5:1-10 - Speaker: Lukus Counterman - In 2 Corinthians 5, Paul gives his concluding reasons for not losing heart in the face of suffering. He encountered danger and death constantly, yet he wanted to have good courage and confidence in the Lord. The way he did that was by remembering the resurrection and hoping for the day when he would spend eternity with the Lord. It was his future body and his future life with Christ that sustained him in times of affliction. May the Lord focus our attention on the unseen things of eternity and renew our hope in the future he has planned for those who love him.

A Royal Psalm
16/11/2025 Duração: 39minPsalm 18 - Speaker: Jotham Manoranjan - Psalm 18 is David’s psalm of royal thanksgiving. He writes it as he looks back over decades of running, war, betrayal, and recounts the saving work of God in his life. The psalm traces a simple but profound storyline — Peril → Prayer → Rescue → Praise — as David, overwhelmed by the cords of death and torrents of destruction, cries out and is rescued by the living Lord who moves heaven and earth to save him. Yet the content is too big and too full to refer only to David. Who we find in this Psalm is Jesus Christ.

Psalm 67
09/11/2025 Duração: 28minPsalm 67 - Speaker: DV - To the choirmaster: with stringed instruments. A Psalm. A Song. May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face to shine upon us, Selah that your way may be known on earth, your saving power among all nations. Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you! Let the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you judge the peoples with equity and guide the nations upon earth. Selah Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you! The earth has yielded its increase; God, our God, shall bless us. God shall bless us; let all the ends of the earth fear him!

Don't Lose Heart
02/11/2025 Duração: 43min2 Corinthians 4:1-18 - Have you ever felt worn down or beat up in your attempt to follow Jesus? Have you ever tried to minister his word only to be rejected or mocked for talking about a crucified Lord? Paul knew what that was like and in 2 Corinthians 4, he defends both his ministry and his message. He refused to practice underhanded schemes or twist the scriptures for personal gain. Instead, he proclaimed the plain truth in the sight of God. Now, ministry like that may be ignored or opposed, but Paul’s confidence was in the Creator who makes new creations. Instead of weakness and suffering being disqualifying features, Paul claimed that genuine gospel ministry is marked by power in weakness and life in death. In the end, the apostle encourages all of us not to lose heart because our great God can use momentary affliction to produce for us an eternal weight of glory. So may we continue following in the steps of our Lord proclaiming his name to all who will hear.

New Covenant Christians
26/10/2025 Duração: 43min2 Corinthians 3:1-18 - Speaker: Lukus Counterman - In 2Cor. 3 Paul finishes the defense of his ministerial status and explains the New Covenant work of the Spirit. He explains to the Corinthians that he is a genuine minister, with a more glorious message, that is creating a transformed community. Paul wants the church to accept him and embrace the surpassing glory of the New Covenant. And it’s because he knows that those who turn to the Lord will be transformed into his image. So, may God change each of us as we gaze into the light of the gospel in the face of Jesus Christ.

Discipleship Pathway
19/10/2025 Duração: 33minColossians 1:28-29 - Speaker: Jon Kopp - Behind the title of this series is an assumption: Gospel Grace is at a crossroads. More and more people are gathering in worship and growing in community. There is an exciting buzz of momentum around what God is doing here, and there are few places across our ministry where we aren’t having to adjust and make room. The question is: what is next? As we chart a way forward, we want to clarify and emphasize not just what we are going to do, but how we are going to do it.

Authentic Gospel Ministry
19/10/2025 Duração: 52min2 Corinthians 2:12-12:17 - Speaker: Lukus Counterman - In 2 Corinthians 2:12-17, Paul goes to great lengths to discuss authentic gospel ministry. He has been on trial, so to speak, by the Corinthians because of his change of travel plans and cancellation of his second visit to them. They accused him of being fickle and maybe even dishonest. They suggested that he couldn’t be trusted and perhaps even lacked apostolic authority. In his attempt to affirm his love and explain why he changed his plans, Paul believes it’s necessary to define and defend true gospel ministry. As we study this text together, may the Lord help us embrace genuine gospel ministry. May we participate in and partner with those who give their lives to it.

Tough Love
12/10/2025 Duração: 52min2 Corinthians 2:5-11 - Speaker: Lukus Counterman - In 2 Corinthians 2, Paul had just finished explaining his change of travel plans. He had initially intended to visit the church of Corinth, go up and see some friends in Macedonia, and then return to Corinth for a second visit. Well, the first stop went so poorly that Paul canceled his return ticket and went straight back to Ephesus. Paul had been publicly humiliated, openly rejected, and utterly shamed in front of the congregation while they stood silently by, doing nothing. It was a terrible visit, so Paul wrote a letter and instructed them to discipline the offending brother. His actions were inexcusable and his refusal to repent was poisonous to the church. Well, the Corinthians did end up excommunicating the man from the assembly. And in turn he sorrowfully repented of his sin. But now the church needed to restore this man. So, Paul continues 2 Corinthians 2 with instructions on church discipline, and it’s intended goal. This is an important text, becaus
