    The Optimized Athlete Part 1.0   In this episode we dig into optimizing the body OUTSIDE of training.   Training H.A.M. is one thing...   Taking care of your body outside of the gym is another.   Sleep, Hydration, Stress Management   Sleep -7-8 Hours is the Target -If not - try to slip in a 10-20 min nap where you can (POWER NAPS) -Darker the better - ideal to sleep in total darkness -Chilly if possible -Prep for sleep (AMISH HOUR) -ZMA to supplement -avoid caffeine after 1pm   Hydration -hunger and thirst = same thing -start the day with 16oz of fresh water - add lemon and himalayan sea salt -target is 1/2 BW in oz + 10-15 more if training hard and it's HOT -challenge yourself to keep your pee clear (good indicator)   Stress Management -BREATHE -Box Breathing -Meditation -write or journal -TRAIN! -Walk and get outside  -get away from the hustle and bustle - get into nature -DISCONNECT —set a challenge to go unplugged for 24 hours if possible   http://www.trainaggr
