There, really, is no room for arrogance in the field of writing.  We all work hard.  We all "try" to accomplish something.  Just because we are the only one in our family to write a book, blog, or give aspeech, doesn't me we have earned the right to treat others poorly.

We look for excuses in everything, but stop looking for excuses not to write!

The skill of writing is just one part of becoming a successful writer.  You must also get out of bed, turn off the TV, stay home fromthe party, and write.  Writing has to mean enough to you, to move yourself forward, to motivate yourself.
