In the early 90's  Rav Dovid Fegin, a dear friend, presented me with a special gift which i cherish to this very day.

On this Yom Kippur morning, when  I expected only normality,  I found myself completely alone with only the Creator. 

The story of our lift to Israel, it was expected to arrive the week beforepassover, then corona happened; passover came and went,then the lift arrived with all our passover stuff. I guessthe 30 haggadahs will just have to wait until next passover....  and more.

The Passover Seder song of  Dayenu calls out to me this yearas our unique situation of having just moved to Israel coincides with the first global pandemic. 

Several years ago I traveled to Israel to visit my daughter.My arrival was met with unexpected challenges, but with a cry into the heavens for help, all worked out just fine. 

One of the first hurtles in the Alyiah journey you won't be able to avoid is getting your documents apostilled. 

Karen and I made the Big jump to Israel. The world isfaced with a pandemic. Everyone on the planet is staringinto a huge unknown..

During my late teen swimming years, I spent my summer months swimming at Brennan Pools in Detroit. Once a summer we elected to forgo the training, for a competition of a different sort.
