After a year of strong single releases and a stellar debut album, Tough Love are fast becoming one of London's most hyped DJ duos around. Alex and Stefan sat down to us to talk about their label, their new single and all things music. If you're into heavy basslines, big drops and utter grooves then this mix is for you. The latest instalment in our Idle Mix Series comes from London tech house duo MANT. They've put together an inspiration mix for us which shows us the creative process behind their hugely anticipated EP, Ra. Their Solä EP featuring Ra and brand new banger, Really Was has been tearing up the global club scene. The latter track also got its first airing on BBC Radio 1 and has been supported by Danny Howard, Monki, Skream, Steve Lawler, Solä label owners Solardo, and many more. Supported by just about everyone, including Pete Tong, Hot Since 82, Jamie Jones, Joris Voorn, Claude VonStroke, Nic Fanciulli, Richy Ahmed, Riva Starr, Gorgon City, Nicole Moudaber and plenty more, MANT are no strangers to delivering high quality tech house that turns festival and club dance floors into a seething mass of bodies. This is MANT's Idle Mix.

Dom Servini is our guest mix this week and what a mix it is. Here he lays down a set of deep basslines and vocal tracks in preparation for his appearance at the Funk and Soul Weekender on the 12th-14th May. A perfect blend of hip-hop, jazz and soul, this mix is designed to get you ready for the big weekend ahead of you. We've had a small hiatus on the Idle Mix Series but we're back with another set for you, this time from Moleman. We've stepped up the energy levels this time as Moleman delivers an hour of full frontal bass covering the full spectrum of drum & bass. With his latest EP, Sensory, out on Subsphere, the label's 10th release, Moleman is really starting to make a name for himself.  With over 1.5million YouTube views on his music, Moleman has managed to attract a hugely loyal following in a short amount of time and his realease on Subshpere has been eagerly anticipated by all that follow him. So, to get you running faster at the gym, partying harder at your pre-drinks and nodding your head a little more vigorously on your commute to work, we've called on Moleman to provide a mix delivering what he sees as a rave-inducing collection of tunes. 

One duo that are set to take to the decks at Noisily Festival this year is Atomic Drop, who have graciously provided us with an exclusive mix to give us a taster of what to expect from them at Noisily this year.  It's just over half an hour of full frontal bass music, hitting that ultra contemporary electro-house vibe. Based in Brighton, the pair champion those filthier sounds that are sure to get your heart racing and feet moving. You did it. You got through January and (if you took part in Dry Jan) you can now drink yourself into oblivion from Friday to Sunday. So, to kick start the first weekend of alcoholic liberty, we thought we'd join the party and deliver yet another jam-packed hour of raving riddims. For this edition we've got Sirus Hood taking over the controls, bringing an hour of club bangers, designed to get those predrinks flowing on your Friday or Saturday night. Recorded directly from his set at Ministry of Sound in December, the mix has been test driven in one of London's biggest clubs. So, whether you're on your way to a house party, Ministry of Sound club night or a Saturday morning jog, this mix will have you right to party hard or train like a winner.

We're back with yet another podcast for your weary ears today as we invite Taim to step up to the decks and offer up some bassier house flavours to kick start your January and banish those annual blues! After gaining an already impressive folowing for such a young artist, Taim is continuing to push forward into new realms with his latest single, 'Blackout Blinds', coming out on Fat! Recordings with some anthemic vocals from Madi Lane. With the 20 year old set to have a huge year in 2016, we knew we had to grab an exclusive mix off of this hugely exciting Mancunian producer. Expect nothing but the bassiest house, enough to shake off any January blues.

So we're into December, the jingle bells be ringing and the weather's starting to drop. One positive, though, is that we're in prime party season and that means The Idle Mix Series has another addition, this time from Hannah V. Having signed to SONY's Pitch Up sister label, Hannah's been turning heads on a regular basis ever since her rave-dominating track, 'Version 2.0' earlier this year. Now, with the release of her latest track, 'It Ain't Right', becoming a regular feature in many-a-DJ's set, we couldn't be prouder to bring you an exclusive mix from the lady herself. If you're not familiar with Hannah V's solo work, she's probably an artist whose work you've actually heard quite a lot having played keys for the likes of Rihanna, Jessie J, Gnarls Barkley, Cee-Lo, Jay Sean and Taio Cruz. The Idle Mix Series is back with another edition, this month we have a live recording of Jozef K & Winter Son on 808 and 909 drum machines. After starting out at Sankeys Manchester at 19 years old, Jozef was then given the honour of residnecy at the legendary club. Shortly after Jozef was touring the world with sets in New York, Beijing and Moscow, later picking up 'best newcomer award' at the Sankeys awards in 2014. With the Ibiza season now well and truly over, we thought we'd give all you people that made it out to the Island and to the fastest growing club in Ibiza, Sankeys, a little bit of nostalgia. Spanning a wide range of styles, reflecting their eclectic tastes for all things emotional and electronic. So we're now into September, summer's officially gone and it's back to the grey days and rain - sounds a bit like our summer actually. The good news, though, is that it means we have another Idle Mix to pick you back up again. We thought we'd give you a little more of a an energetic offering and stray away from the summery, chilled vibes of house music. That's where GLXY come in. Hailing from the UK and delivering a seriously soulful take on the drum & bass sound, GLXY are one of the most exciting talents in the scene at the moment. With a new EP, entitled Digital Souls, now available via the good folks over at Soulvent, these brand new producers have a real feel of Lenzman about their sound. This soulful energy couldn't be more apt to get you back on your feet and smashing into autumn with a new lease of life.

So another month has passed and we're really excited to bring to you the 7th installment of The Idle Mix Series. This week we've taken things a little heavier Newbie Nerdz bringing an hour of heavier house vibes to bringing a real underground and lively energy to the series. With their latest EP, The One, released on Lee M Kelsall's Altus Project and now part of the Get Twisted family, this exciting duo are steadily making a name for themselves among the circles of house's underground scene. With a relentless party feel to every track and a dark undertone, these guys know how to kick up a ruckus in the rave. So turn your bass levels up, get the drinks flowing and start your night as you intend to go on. Installment number 6 of the Idle Mix series sees Argentinian house producer, Dark Soul Project, offering up an hour of Latin-tinged house vibes to get you in the carnival mood. Part of the Tenampa Recordings camp, Dark Soul sets the mood for any party or rave with a solid hour of fresh track he's feeling at the moment. After appearing on Tenampa Recordings' Tenampa Essentials Vol. 1 with his huge track 'Night Pleasure', that has been consistently smashing dancefloors over the past few months, Dark Soul Projects is a producer you need on your radar. This chapter of our Idle Mix Series sees us stepping into the dark world of Techno with Glaswegian duo, Illyus & Barrientos. Having gained Radio 1 support from the likes of Annie Mac and Pete Tong with ‘Chase Your Trip’ and ‘Ballin’ and with a number of releases on the horizon, we’re super excited to be featuring the guys before they take the summer by storm. This week things are taken a little darker but the mix progresses from the more minimal styles right up to the party-catered, bass-driven selections that will be the perfect soundtrack to any pre-drinks you’re hosting in the coming weeks. So sit back (or stand up) turn the volume up and let Illyus & Barrientos take you through the varying styles of the house and techno sounds.

Babylon Crooks deliver an hour of progressively energetic and consistently deep tracks to kick start any party. Perfect for your morning commute, late night sessions and alone down-time, this is another mix we're sure will be suiting the many moods you find yourself in over the coming month.

As we approach the Spring time and deliver our third Podcast, it's with great pleasure we hand the decks over to The Penelopes. With a focus on Indie music but with electronic tinges, this Disco duo brings forward an hour of diverse and upbeat tunes for your party and chilling needs.

Our second Podcast features Black Butter Records' Applebottom as he lays down 30 minutes of grooving disco and some classic Hip-Hop to shake things up. If uplifting vocals, old school sounds and positive vibes are you, this will be your companion for months to come.
