Sherry Kyle is an author of seven books for women and tween girls and is a contributor to two compilations. In the fourth grade Sherry won an award for her story Friends Can Be So Mean. As she read library books to her children, the bug hit and she knew she wanted to write for kids and be a writer. She started writing for tween girls after taking courses through the Institute of Children’s Literature. Then an agent suggested she write contemporary novels for women. Going to writers conferences followed and she talks about how these conferences helped her build a writing career. She laughs as she describes writing a bit of everything, a bit of this and that.
