  • Episode 71 – Abigail Puccioni

    15/01/2023 Duração: 40min

Push yourself to do hard things – Abigail Puccioni Chronic back pain and recurring infections is how Abigail got started on her Integrative Health Practitioner journey.  Most people would associate integrative health with diet changes, supplements, protocols and a fear of toxins.  With all of these things, Abigail felt stuck in the wellness hamster wheel.  Mindset and belief system is what shifted for Abigail.  The thought crossed Abigail’s mind; shouldn’t we all be better by now?  Abigail decided to go off of her supplements and stopped cutting out certain food groups.  Once Abigail stopped living so rigidly she started to live again and even took up traveling again.  Colin O’Brady’s two books, The 12-Hour Walk and The Impossible First along with the podcast, The Cure For Chronic Pain with Nicole Sachs, LCSW helped Abigail start to change her mind-set.  Abigail knew that her next steps would come to her when the time was right.  It finally hit her that she wanted to start a brick-and-mortar wellness center.

    01/01/2023 Duração: 57min

‘Stories change hearts and hearts change minds and that’s the only way we can grow” – Trevor Boylston Let’s get educated on LGBTQ+ and gender dysphoria.  Trevor takes us on an educational journey through his 17 year transgender journey.  This is Trevor’s experience.  Everyone’s journey will be unique to them.  Gender identity is who you know yourself to be, who you are as a person and sexual orientation is who you are attracted to.  Gender identity may not always match their gender expression and that is how you appear to the world around you.  Trevor expresses himself as male with his example of his beard, T-shirt and bald head.  Trevor has had surgeries which include consultations, travel and spending days/weeks away from home.  Letters from several professionals are required to attest to Trevor making a sound decision.  There are several safeguards in place to ensure that sound decisions are being made; this is not an overnight decision.  Trevor’s wife has been a fantastic supporter of his change and he th

  • Episode 69 – Book Club One Day in December

    18/12/2022 Duração: 53min

The December 2022 Book Club all agreed that One Day in December by Josie Silver was a cute read heading into the holidays.  Context and perspective matters is the theme of this review.  We had a good laugh with Pam thinking that Jack was a bus boy; when in reality he was the guy that Laurie saw at a bus stop.  The three of us really enjoyed the characters and could visualize many scenes in the book.  We all enjoyed the twists and turns and we’d read another Josie Silver book.        You can follow the I Can Do Anything Podcast at: Email us at – icandoanythingpod@gmail.com Watch our faces on YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCeI1EHGodsDgwYbvHuOxLQQ And then there is always our website - www.icandoanythingpod.com Like us and subscribe on Facebook - https://bit.ly/3bG0Efk Follow us on Twitter - https://bit.ly/2yqZczb Find us on Instagram - https://bit.ly/2xDFIa4 Get your merch here - https://bit.ly/teespringicdapod Join us on Goodreads – ICDA   Please leave a review and remember that we’d love to hear f

  • Episode 68 – First-Time Mom

    01/12/2022 Duração: 35min

What’s something that’s exciting and scary?  Being a first-time mom!  Megan and her husband gave grandparent gifts to break the news of the new baby.  There wasn’t a big reveal, they kept it intimate which suited them just fine.  Did you know that there’s an app for baby names that you and your husband/partner can use to help narrow down baby names?  Megan says that being a parent is the best experienced! Megan was considered an elderly pregnancy.  The U.S. Census Bureau figures show that for the first time, the average age of women giving birth is now 30.  A geriatric pregnancy is considered 35 years and older.  The oldest verified mother to conceive naturally (listed currently as of 26 January 2017 in the Guinness Records[6]) is Dawn Brooke (Guernsey); she conceived a son at the age of 59 years in 1997.[7] Megan’s post - https://gingernerdmom.wordpress.com/2022/10/05/musings-on-motherhood-from-a-newbie/?fbclid=IwAR0mF5gTtYHVfxuSE-0GrlALZbCLQRIIcxBeeWV23s7yHSBFFMTRhHt8ous   Links for postpartum depression: M

  • Episode 67 – Grateful for Jerremy Newsome

    21/11/2022 Duração: 53min

As we enter the holiday season, I take it as a time to reflect.  This year is no exception.  I interviewed Jerremy Newsome who’s leveled up my life since June 2019 and it’s time to give thanks.  I met Jerremy through my mom, who was and still is, obsessed with anything Jerremy related.  Who’s Jerremy Newsome?  First and foremost a father and husband.  One of the world’s best stock traders.  Three-time finisher of 29029 Everesting, Ironman, Calendar Club running finisher, 10k pushups in a day and completed the 4x4x48 David Goggins challenge.  Jerremy is also an entrepreneur, author of adult and children’s books, mentor, an official member of Forbes Business Council, mentor of G-Force Mastermind, Podcaster, keynote speaker for events, featured guest on podcasts and world traveler. • Episode 66 – 29029 Journey 2022

    02/11/2022 Duração: 44min

Do you have what it takes to Everest?  Stratton Mountain in Stratton, VT was where I left it all on the mountain.  Stratton’s vertical foot gain per hike is 1,750 ft, 1.35 miles up to the summit, 17 hikes are required to reach 29029 ft and a total of 22.4 miles.  Hike up, take the gondola down, turn right and head back up to the summit.  It’s the hardest thing that I’ve ever done even at five ascents, and I can’t wait to do it again!  2023 I signed up to volunteer at Jackson, WY and I plan to attend as a participant in 2024.  It will take two years to build up strength and endurance to give myself a fair shot.  This community is something that I've never encountered before and I want to be a part of it.  A big thank you to Marc Hodulich, Colin O’Brady, and Jesse Itzler for this event.  Another shout out to Colleen Rue, Matt Burrell, all of the coaches, Garth, Ali Rogers, the photography team, Zach and all of the rest of the 29029 staff.    Follow 29029Everesting: Web:  29029everesting.com Instagram: @29029eve

  • Episode 61 - Rob Oyler CEO & Founder at WANRack

    15/08/2022 Duração: 47min

Rob didn’t take the easy way out in order to become successful.  The beginning of Rob’s career started as a car stereo installer, joined the Army where he gained foundational discipline, worked in construction and then went into installing mobile phones.  Although Rob was installing mobile phones, Rob was ‘selling’ to the owners of the cars and quickly learned that sales was where he needed to be.  80% of it is mindset and pair that with skill, attitude and confidence it goes a long way. Something that struck home with me during the interview with Rob was his statement to his family of “Tell me how you failed today?  I want you failing; if you fail, you’ll learn from that.”  Rob gives back to the community by speaking to business classes at a local high school.  “Have an open mind, have a critical thinking mindset but the foundational things are what you want to hold onto.”  WANRack is a leading provider of Fiber Optic Wide Area Networks (WANs) for middle-mile, last-mile, K-12 school districts, cities, counti
