Be Still and Know - Be Still and know that He is God. Think through your schedule you can probably find some alone time each day. We need to be still, alone, and focused on God as we pray. We need that time with Him. Do not pray as the hypocrites do to be seen of men, but pray not to be seen of men. Seek time alone and hidden away with God and pray. Find a daily time to be still and alone with God, acknowledge His presence and pray to Him. 

Why develop our faith and prayer life? - Our prayers are precious to the Lord. He desires and cherishes our fellowship with Him. The Lord wants you to tell Him about your concerns, and your needs. He wants you to tell Him about your day. We should never take our prayer life for granted. Never quit, never give up on your faith in God.

There is much to be learned, and then applied to our own life from the life and example of Moses. We can learn much about prayer from Moses; we can learn much about faithfulness from Moses; we can learn much about sacrificial love from Moses. Listen to this message and see what you can learn from the life of Moses that you can personally apply to your own life. There is much to learn from the life of Moses for all of us. 

Some say prayer is for the weak. Well it is for the weak, for man is weak. Who is strong apart from the Lord? Who can get along entirely by themselves, apart from any help from any person or thing? Who do you lean on? Do you lean on your job, your family, your riches? What if you lost them suddenly? We are to lean on the Lord, and we do this in part through prayer and developing our prayer life with Him.

What is meant exactly by the word prayer? Many Christians would say that prayer, “is asking things from God.” But there must be more to prayer than just “getting things from God.” It cannot be just that.
