Nigel reflects on cross-cultural learning at universities and how we can best support the student experience in this regard.  We debated the issue of how universities can balance sustainable and internationalisation strategies and we talked about the need for, versus the value of, travel in international higher education, including a few anecdotes about the benefits of physical mobility and the need to ensure the best return for carbon investment. Dr Christopher Hill and Dr Tendai Charles discuss the recent changes to teaching and learning; how to integrate technology in teaching effectively; the role of the teacher today; online assessment; and the next steps for education.

Dr Hill sat down with colleagues from Westminster International University in Tashkent, an established TNE university in Uzbekistan, to discuss the current education sector, recent developments, student experience and the future of international education in Uzbekistan.
