2legit With Drew And Nick Podcast

In this episode, we start Season 3 with a bang! Joined by Rian (Casual Coward of Gaming podcast) and David (Zombies, Government, and You podcast), we discuss what we think are a few of the greatest albums to come out of the 90's. From Metallica to Dr. Dre, and all the in between, we talk about what albums helped change the music landscape of the time and who's influence is still felt today. So grab a drink, kick back and join us as we start another great season of 2Legit with Drew and Nick.

This isn't your typical episode. We thought it would be a good idea record our fantasy draft. You be the judge. The shit talking and side-bets have begun! We also unintentionally plugged Bud Light, NOS Energy, Geico, and Prescott Brewing's Achocolypse.

This Sunday is our first draft for 2Legit Fantasy League so we made a quick episode talking the owners, the draft, and our fantasy predictions. We also talk about Nick's upcoming birthday, our band 2Legit's first open mic gig, and getting hit with a switch.

We just saw "Straight Outta Compton" and give it all thumbs up! We loved the movie. This week we talk about the movie, the 1992 LA riots, Rodney King, and Drew tries to sound like he has a clue even though he's too drunk.

Nick and I are back with a new episode where we talk about our childhood idols and their fall from grace. Hulk Hogan is a racist? Bill Cosby is a racist? Paul "Pee Wee" Rubens? Michael Jackson? It all goes downhill! We also touched on the transgendered subject, tried fixing our echo'ing mixer, figured out what sound Pee Wee makes when he cums, and talked about out upcoming fantasy football season.

Nick and I are finally back to a fully dedicated 90's episode! We had Eve and Shanna stop by for some Irish coffee and beermosas, and we talked about our favorite 90's Teen Queens. As always, Eve had her bold opinions, and Nick and argued whether or not Britney Spears is considered a 90's Teen Queen. Seriously, how was she NOT?!

This episode is made up of a bunch of clips we recorded over Memorial Day weekend. We walked into 2Legit Studios, hit "record," and kept the good stuff. Or, at least the stuff I considered good. Then the next day, we had a few friends over for a BBQ. When we were sitting around the patio table, i pushed "record" on my phone and captured Nick's Madden ranking system in action. Turns out I'm a 9.5 asshole. There are all kinds of randomness captured. The Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner, LGBTA news was very fresh and Nick had a lengthy rant about it. We also played "Fuck, Marry, Kill" with our friends' moms and spouses. Nick called me a Lumbersexual Hipster, Hookah bars memories (btw, the sound you hear at 32:40 is a hookah, NOT a bong), and I told everyone about the time Cheyne tried to piss on me.

We made it to 50 episodes! Thank you to everyone for listening. We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoy doing it. For Ep50, we had Ender Jon and Aaron come by to attempt a movie date of the Puberty episode. Yeah, this was intended to be a Movie Date show, but that got scrapped as soon as we realized we were having more fun talking. Ender and Aaron told us about their sexual history, we explore our Eskimo family tree, Aaron's penis, and fingerblasting. "Sooooo gooooood!" Thanks for the title, Aaron.

We recorded this on Memorial Day and ended up not having enough space to upload it on time. So never mind the fact that it's overdue by a week. Ender Jon stopped by to be a judge for a list of questions Nick and I debated/argued. Nick and I picked an opposing side and argued who was right. Would you rather be a pirate or a ninja? Have free gas for 25 years, or have your dream car? Have $1million in Amazon gift cards, or $100,000 in cash? It didn't take us very long for our arguments to become personal attacks on each other. After watching "To Wong Foo," we (Drew, Nick, Aaron, Shanna) weren't done hanging out. Nick gives us an update on his Mother/daughter love triangle. And I finally get a chance to rant about me getting screwed out of having a picture on @midnight, thanks to my old prom date. We also asked Aaron and Shanna some of the questions we asked in the Friendship Test episode.

Our Movie Date Summer Series continues with "To Wong Foo." I didn't think we would have as much fun recording this episode. But hot damn, we had a blast! Our friends Aaron and Shanna watched with us. If you want to play a drinking game, take a shot every time we say "get your hand off my dick," and every time Nick gets made fun of for having a crush on Chi Chi. Besides adding our own commentary to the movie, we also had a serious discussion about different vagina/dick names. I mean, who wouldn't mind a Beef n Cheddar?

In this episode, we talk about Nick's awkward love triangle. Sex, blondes, and old ladies. This one has it all. Sit back, relax, and be glad you're not Nick (what else is new, am I right?).

Summer is near. The inevitable scorching sun is about to ruin our lives. But we've come up with a plan! We are going to release a Movie Date each month. That way, you can stay indoors and watch movies with us. To start, we are watching A Goofy Movie. This movie just celebrated it's 20th anniversary. Lets be honest, you still remember most of the songs. And they're all awesome!

As Nick says, it's about to get Real O'Clock. We conducted an experiment with our Frijoles Vanessa, Aubrey, and Eve, and Ender Jon stopped by too. The questions we asked each other were supposed to be asked to strangers, but we asked our friends instead. What started off as a light-hearted Q&A soon got emotionally deep. We ended up learning a lot about one another, like how we think we're going to die and our most embarassing moment. Besides a soul squeezing test, we also talked about Tinder calls and our guest that frequents Tinder. After the show, keep listening to our bonus clips.There's an old clip from Ep41-Slow Jams when Rian and Nicole talked about vasectomies and gynecological visits, and using a nail clipped to remove a skin tag, and my and Nick's band 2Legit debuts a new songs we're working on.

There's some things we needed to get off our collective chests, so we called in our friend Eve, and spilled our guts! If it was on our mind, we talked about it! The three of us ranted about the disgusting people who don't wash their hands after using the bathroom, Nick's indian powers, Eve's mexican female duties, and Drew's road rage problems. We also talked about the double standard of the "N" word. Yeah, we actually did.

It's finally here! The Simpsons episode! We have been talking about it since our first episode! Our number 1 fan, "The Score Keeper" David and our old friend from the Summer Nationals concert, Seby, came by to talk about The Simpsons. We talked about or favorite secondary characters, favorite quotes, and some things that the typical Simpsons fan might have missed. At the end of the episode, we also played The Simpsons Jeopardy.

Just in time for Valentine's Day, 2Legit with Drew and Nick bring you our dedication to slow jams! Rian, from the Casual Cowards, and his girlfriend Nicole join us to talk about our favorite 90's slow jams and the memories that go along with them. Honestly, most of our memories are perverted and focused on doing nasty things in our adolescent years. Have you ever noticed that every R&B group from the 90's had that one guy that talked in that low voice at the beginning or middle of the song? They always sang in the rain with their shirts half open, and they looked emotional and kind of tortured. Besides talking about 90's slow jams, we also talked about single mothers having low self esteem, Nick's bag of love (think about Kenny from Can't Hardly Wait), and Rian's vasectomy. There's a lot of bonus audio at the end of the show.

40 episodes! That's some sort of a milestone, isn't it? Probably not, but still. Weeee! This week we talk about the film careers of John Travolta and Nicholas Cage. Con Air, Face Off, Get Shorty, Pulp Fiction, The Rock. There are so many favorites out there! Who wasn't a fan of the Bruckheimer/Bay excessive explosions?   We also talked about Nick's damning impulse buying, Fleetwood Mac and their awesome cocaine habits, and the conference rounds of the NFL playoffs. We watched the Packers/Seahawks while podcasting. We made a few predictions. Were we right? Were we way off? If history has proven anything, we're probably wrong. Listen and find out!

For the first time, our band, 2Legit, plays in front of a crowd! We set up some microphones, got some friends, and gathered around a fire and had a good time. The sound quality is horrible, but we had a good time. We wanted to play in front of some friends to see how everyone likes the cover songs we've been working on. I'd like to think we were positively received.  

What happens when you have 4 girls on a podcast to talk about boy bands? An absolute shit storm. The Frijoles Crew made the trek from the west side to 2Legit Studios to share their recollection of growing up in the eye of the boy band storm. We also had a special guest, Brenda, a Frijoles OG join us. It's never a good idea to podcast hungover. We never seem to learn our lesson. Nick and I made our live 2Legit band debut, "Live at the Thunderdome." Keep your ears and eyes out for that episode, because it should be coming out in two weeks. This week, we talked to the girls about their first boy band concert, the extent of their fandom, and also talked about some lesser known, lesser remembered boy bands. The sound levels are out of whack.Work with us. It can only get better, moving forward.
