John sadly forgets a piece of South Dakota history. John ponders whether the old “Executive Hare” luxury bus was the same as the double decker bus Phil (and Matt?) traveled in on their choir tour. Phil starts the show already drinking and begins to forget Matt’s name. Speaking of buses, John and Phil recall the disaster spoof movie, “The Big Bus” (1976) Star Wars and Star Trek are discussed, with our varying levels of fandom. KFC and its “gravy substitute” is discussed briefly. The guys talk about the South Dakota institution, Al’s Oasis and what it was like to grow up in Gregory, SD. Some follow-up regarding Happy Joe’s and Matt talks about what he learned about  “the life” from his Dad. The song:  “Star Whack”

On today’s exciting installment, John records on location in Rapid City while enjoying Taco John’s at the same time! The enduring mysteries of Don Rafael’s and the original name of the “Mexican Arcade” is finally solved. John finds it necessary to discuss some of the more memorable (?) road signs along I-90 in South Dakota. The Knowles family is discussed...again. Ever had Hot Tang?
