In this episode we are sharing a thought provoking conversation from our online panel discussion. Nancy Graves, Kristin Cox, and Megan Kalambo continue the journey through the women in the Bible by broadening our understanding on the life of Miriam. In this episode Natalie talks about how she’s learned that the holiness of rest is worship unto God. In Hagar’s life we see God provide, not scarcely, but abundantly. We are excited to launch the new series on the Women of the Bible. In this episode Kristin Cox shares how the life of Sarah is not just inspirational, but also relatable. Kristin had to learn that her faith is not a passive state of living, but an active way of walking through life. Every season became an opportunity to solidify and strengthen her faith in the only living God. Through Sarah’s life, you will be encouraged to pause, reflect and have holy confidence in the One who promised to never leave us, nor forsake us.

In this teaching Cody shares on how she has learned that keeping your "hands to the plow" is something completely different than mowing the lawn. When we picture ourselves mowing the grass, we are leveling the ground in front of us in order for it to be well-manicured and manageable. It’s really hard to stop comparing manicured lawns. But a plow does something very different. A plow pulls up the soil. It reaches deep into both manicured and maniacal grass and pulls it out at the root. Plowing looks a lot like destroying wherever growth was already there. Unplowed ground, to the untrained eye, always looks more pleasant. Perhaps there are things we’ve been doing and ways we’ve been being that God wants to uproot—not because they’re inherently wrong but because they’ve run their course. The season is over and the soil must be made ready for what’s next. You will be encouraged to keep your "hands to the plow". Enjoy listening.

Knowing that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead is available to us, is not only good news, but it has the potential to change our entire lives. Corlischa shares about how our reality in front of us has the potential to push us to a posture of praise where we will encounter Eternal Hope; a heart posture of praise flows from our faith; and faith flows from a place of complete surrender. God created us to know Him personally and to live life from this place. We were created to experience Him and this is often cultivated in the unseen and hidden places. Birds sing on a beautiful day but they also sing in the midst of a storm. Tiffany Melton shares from this example on how she has learned the power of praise in moments where fear wanted to paralyze her. Tiffany has encountered the Eternal God and has learned that one cannot reason fear away, but you can renounce it. Through her journey with Jesus her testimony will encourage you to arm yourself with the weapon of praise in the everyday moments.

Waiting is part of every season and every day. Having to wait for breakthrough, an answer to prayer or waiting for a season to pass have the potential to cultivate an endurance and an honesty in our relationships with Jesus. Erin Woods shares how this honesty with the Lord has caused her to walk in deeper intimacy, steadiness and joy in her relationship with the Lord.

Waiting is part of every season and every day, but when we are waiting on big things - life altering situations - we are tempted to wonder if God is really at work. Does He hear? Does He see? How do we manage not to lose heart when we don’t see any movement? In this week’s episode Corey Gregg shares how she has learned that waiting is not passive, but it’s an opportunity to let God draw our attention to things we would have missed otherwise.
