I was listening to Fr. Mike Schmitz talking about the five second rule in regard to food on the floor. 'I'm holding hands with a god.' Spiritualized, the scene leads us to the reality that God is always reading our minds. If you reflect on the last few episodes, it’s all about our minds. Are we sharing the mind of God, or have we created God in our image? Sadly, we are finding out how often we are in opposition to our heavenly Father, and His Biblical View. My wife, Elizabeth, and I were just reflecting on a particular Sunday morning, five years ago, while we were headed home from Sunday mass. There was a song playing in my head, ‘For a man shall leave his mother, and a woman shall leave her home.’ It’s called The Wedding Song. When we arrived home, our daughter Carolyn was waiting for us. Carolyn said, 'You know how I've always said that I would not mention any guy’s name or bring anyone home until things were getting serious. Well, it's time to tell you about Daniel.’ In this episode, Carolyn opens the door to the heavenly connections that many children have in the first few years of their lives. Go away you evil doers.’ You and I assume that we are inside the house, right? Well, that crowd had the same assumption. That big crowd had apparently never figured something out. Maybe I’ve missed something. In this episode we will see where the crowds are gathering, and where they are not. We will even see what they cheer about. “The caller on my radio show said that she always felt a presence in the car on her way into work. Maryann then said, ‘Yes, he’s in the back seat. For 25 consecutive Halloween mornings, Maryann Winkowski, who inspired the CBS television hit series Ghost Whisperer, would join me on the radio. As I think about it, it’s really a rather simple story. Rich wanted something. He prayed for it. He got it.  Did Rich pray directly to anyone of the three in the Trinity? No. The one he approached for his intercessory prayer happens to be the one known as the Saint of impossible causes. Here, God is awakening us to a basic truth. However you approach God, He is listening. In this case, it was the communion of Saints who were asked to intercede for Rich. Some ask, "Why would you pray to dead people?" Well, first off, they are not dead. Even Jesus was seen by some of His apostles talking to ‘dead’ people, namely, Moses and Elijah.
