Yo, what is up everybody! We are back with a review on Deadpool 2 and Disobedience, please ignore our weird audio issues this week, because we probably will fix them (probably). As always, enjoy the podcast!

Wow, it's almost like the crew has been into intermittent fasting lately, because it feels like forever since we took a seat at the breakfast table and discussed some movies. Due to lost audio with our detailed review of the unstoppable machine that is Marvel's Infinity War, are return was delayed a week, and instead of regurgitating our thoughts on the billion dollar flick, we discussed movies lost in Thanos' large Titan shadow, in You Were Never Really Here and Tully. Both are small in scale, and both deal with traumatic subject matter. Enjoy!

Due to some unforeseen scheduling errors, the Movies For Breakfast podcast had to take an hiatus this week, however we know your movie metabolism won't stop kicking so James has you covered with a little snack. Instead of a discussion, James quickly runs through some of the news that caught his attention with a quick, short, poignant run down of what would surely make an old-timey newsreel.

Wow, you could not pick two more diametrically opposed movies to review in one podcast episode, but hey, we did! First we chatted about the slapstick comedy only critics seem to enjoy and highlight a certain actor-wrestler-buff guy who stole a ton of scenes. After discussing parenting in a sitcom, we discuss the decision making and themes of A Quiet Place. Today we sat down over some grocery bought sushi, waffles and even some theater-bought beers to discuss two movies garnering a ton of buzz: Ready Player One and Isle Of Dogs. We discuss the nostalgia of Steve Spielberg's latest blockbuster, but also acknowledge how sad the future must be if you're forced to look back 60-years for pop-culture. For Isle Of Dogs, we chatted about why Wes Anderson is receiving such heavy criticism, and whether the director needs to change with the tides. In a special edition of the pod, James and Trent talk about the hype surrounding the latest "Avengers: Infinity War" trailer. After the weekend, the latest promotion for the upcoming movie still had the two geeking out, so they decided to share their thoughts on the most exciting and surprising moments shown. The two also discuss where it stacks up with other trailers from Marvel's past films.

In the midst of Trent preparing for SXSW, the crew was able to sneak in a quick episode, complete with news chatter and, of course, reviews. This week we tackled the weird, homage-heavy Thoroughbreds and the somewhat lackluster, unless you're 8-years old, Wrinkle In Time. After a tough few weeks with multiple technical difficulties and vacations, Anna, Trent and James are finally back at the breakfast table! Despite a slightly disjointed schedule, the three gathered to talk about Game Night and Annihilation (20:20). Before that, instead of the usual trailer talk, James and Trent chatted about some hot topics in movies, including Black Panther's Chinese debut, Snoke's backstory in Star Wars and Fred Durst (WTF).
