BLINDED BY THE LIGHT about a young Pakistani-British boy in 1987 who finds himself with the help of Bruce Springsteen; FRANCES HA about a young American woman struggling to find herself outside her relationship with her best friend.

Episode #38: It gets creepy on the One for You podcast, as we discuss Quentin Dupieux's newest offering LE DAIM (DEERSKIN) about a jacket that's just to die for. This is followed by the gothic gem STOKER and it's twisted, sensual tale of one messed up family.

Episode #37: Andri(he's back!) and Olivia go on a journey across Senegal in YAO, and then travel into the mind of a con-man in Abbas Kiarostami's docu-fiction CLOSE-UP.

Episode #36: It's Beatlemania on this week's episode! So naturally, there had to be a guest who is an expert on the Beatles. Film critic Sara Bucher joins Olivia Tjon-A-Meeuw in discussing the high concept romantic comedy YESTERDAY and the psychedelic animation YELLOW SUBMARINE.

#35.5: In a very special episode, Olivia chats to Rispa Stephen, one of the organisers of the Black Film Festival in Zurich. They discuss why there is a need for such a festival in Switzerland, what it means to be black, and why Rispa refuses to pick a favourite film from the festival program. Episode #35: Women fight for equality in real life, so of course, they also do so on the big screen. In honour of the women's strike in Switzerland, Olivia and her special guest Astrit Abazi discuss KATOEY - THE WOMEN WE ARE, a Swiss documentary about Transwomen in Thailand, as well as SUFFRAGETTE about British women's fight for the vote. They also get side-tracked by JOHN WICK CHAPTER 3: PARABELLUM and the question, why even are action scenes?

Episode #34: It's the Sound of Music! Except not that film, but two other movies about, well music. We discuss the Elton John biopic ROCKETMAN and the concert film STOP MAKING SENSE about Talking Heads. No singing on our part, we promise.
