Going two is about continually reminding ourselves about the grace God has given us, so we may be more gracious to others. Matthew 6: 6-8 Having a daily personal rhythm of truth-filled prayer is mile one of our prayer lives as christians. As we step into the second mile, our rhythmic prayer leads us to revelation. We reveal ourselves to God and He reveals himself to us after re-ordering our thoughts through truth-filled prayer. • Rhythmic prayer means praying at a set time and place using truth as our foundation of prayer. (example: The Lords Prayer, "Our Father, who is in heaven....")

Romans 12:20A First mile giving requires us to be dutiful in our giving to follow what God requires. Second mile giving is about people seeing God's heart when we are generous, because we do not give out of requirement or reward. It's not about hiding giving— it's about living a life of gratitude, because of what God has given us.
