Day in the Life of a Pro in the US-Ep.9-Zac Lubin
03/05/2018 Duração: 01h17minMr.Zac Lubin, stepping in on the podcast at 6'5, towering over everyone. He is a Goalkeeper, originally from Montana. Zac has played 5 seasons as a professional. He is currently 28 years old, playing in the USL with the Phoenix Rising. He has played 2 years in Sweden and 3 years in the USL. Zac and I talk about his journey as a pro and what the "grind" really is, and how beautiful the process really is. In the beginning of his career, he was working multiple jobs, 'grinding' on and off the field. Finally, for the past couple years, he has just been able to focus on football, and he notices how all his hard work has paid off. One thing the really stood out to me about him is how much he loves the process, the process of training, and making himself better everyday. He states: "if you really really want this thing, and you are willing to sacrifice nights' out with friends, willing to skip birthday parties', willing to skip weddings, you can do it!"

Day in the Life of a Pro in the US- Yael Averbuch- Ep. 8
27/04/2018 Duração: 50minYael Averbuch, originally from Montclair, New Jersey, is a Center Defender, currently playing for the Seattle Reign FC in the NWSL. Yael was selected in the first round (4th overall) by the Sky Blue FC out of the University of North Carolina (where she set a record of starting 105 games). After a stint with Sky Blue, she decided to move to Sweden, where she played in the UEFA Women's Champions League with Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC. Yael has also played for the US Women's Team at every level. Besides all of her fantastic accomplishments, I brought her on the Podcast because of how hard she works and how much she truly loves the game! She also just released her new app on the iTunes App Store, called "Techne Futbol," where you can download it, and do a 1 week trial. Within the app, she helps you with your individual technical training. An app I highly recommend, especially for young players. Day in the Life of a Pro in Kazakhstan-Kaelyn Korte-Ep. 7
24/04/2018 Duração: 01h11minSuper grateful to get on the Pod today with another fantastic guest. Kaelyn was born in California, and moved to Minnesota when she was 14 years old. Kaelyn went on to play high school football at Shattuck St. Marys in Minnesota. She continued her career at Creighton, before transferring to Central Michigan for her last 3 years of College. She wanted to continue to play the game she loved, so that's what she did. After a great experience with Chicago Red Stars in the NWSL, she got a call from her agent who found her an offer in Kazakhstan where she could continue to chase her dream with a team who plays in the Women's Champions League (Biik Kazygurt). She jumped on the opportunity, because she knew how much it would improve her as a person and as a footballer. She also has a fantastic blog called www.alongtheway.today where she shares her experience of life overseas. I look forward to seeing her on the big stages very soon! Instagram: @kaelyn_korte

Day in the Life Episode of a Pro in the US- Andrew Kendall Moullin- Ep. 4
08/04/2018 Duração: 01h18minAndrew Kendall Moullin comes on the podcast originally Florida, ended up moving to Shattuck St Mary’s in Minnesota and played most of his career there. Many of the footballers I bring on here have similar mindsets but this guy is one specifically that stands out to me. He is a guy I always looked up to because of his work rate, DAY IN AND DAY OUT, if you want to talk about persistence. I thought I worked hard, but nope, not even close to this guy. A fantastic influence for young footballers to look after and follow. He is now playing for Atlanta II as a center defensive midfielder. Take a listen, and let us know what you think!

Day in the Life of a Pro in the US-Ep. 3-Ricardo Lopez Espin
06/04/2018 Duração: 29minHad a fantastic time talking with a good friend; Ricky Lopez Espin, a 22 year old for Real Salt Lake in the MLS. He’s originally from Miami, Florida. At 13 years old he moved to Minnesota to play at Shattuck St Mary’s USSDA. I am sure that getting out of his comfort zone at this young of an age has put him where he’s at today. Plus, he encountered the setback of an ACL injury, and kept pushing on. He took it as a learning experience and looked at it positively the whole way through. His positive mindset and positive vibe is the best part of this conversation.
