Time to jump into Oceans of Possibilities with the 2022 Summer Reading Clubs at MCPL! Our amazing colleagues from the Adult, Teen, and Children's departments are here to give us the scoop on what to expect if you sign up for this year's clubs! Registration is now open. For Adults – Enjoy a summer filled with reading your choice of books, audiobooks, or eBooks. Participants can earn virtual raffle tickets for each book they read. Those who read at least 3 books will receive an invitation to our Summer Reading Club Finale. Each virtual raffle ticket counts as one chance in our raffle drawing to win some fantastic prizes!  For Teens – Entering 6th-12th grade. Earn a chance to win raffle prizes for every hour read. Read 6 hours and get an invitation to our end of the summer soiree! For Children – For ages birth-entering 5th grade. This week's episode is coming to you from Podfest 2022 in Orlando, Florida! We are here to learn more about podcasting, video production, and the great resources that are available...and we will be bringing this knowledge back to our patrons for some exciting things that will be available later this year. In the meantime, as the summer season begins, it's a good time to refresh yourself with the importance of water safety, especially if you have little ones. In-person programming is back and ramping up BIG TIME at the library! Join us for our Touch A Truck event on Saturday, May 14th from 11am to 1pm in the parking lot of our Centereach building. This unique event will feature large trucks and heavy equipment from law enforcement, fire department, commercial companies, industrial companies and more.
