Known for his disco and soulful influenced house productions, the Leeds producer has been continuously outputting summer groovers and winter warmers. Also creating music under his techno alias Viers, LK co-runs the label Hokkaido Dance Club, which has put out music from artists such as Baltra, Ray Kandinski and himself. With releases on labels such as Bristol bred Shall Not Fade, Big Doint, Ruff Draft and a recent EP on Moxie's On Loop imprint, LK steps into the mix for this week's New Music Worldwide mix.

Producing music in the underground dungeons of Amsterdam, Nachtbraker's eclectic style is clearly audible through his releases, which range from ecstatic slow groovers and unconventional dub tracks to straight-up four to the floor house. He also Is the label boss of the Amsterdam based Quartet Series, which has recently put out S3A’s soulful and energetic Climax EP. With releases on Hudd Traxx, Heist and Dirt Crew Recordings, the versatile artist has continued to impress. The 3-man collective take base in the former industrial warehouses of Hackney Wick, London. With a focus on modular design, production and performance within the dynamics of dance music. They have previously releases on labels such as Hypercolour, Dimensions Recordings and Applied Rhythmic Technology, the synthesiser wizards have awoken the sound of the future through the potency of the modular format. Although mostly linked to electro through their live performances and releases, London Modular Alliance explore the varied sounds and styles of their collection in this weeks New Music Worldwide.

Generation Next's career in music always maintained an air of inevitability. The son of Detroit legend Big Strick (himself a cousin of FXHE boss Omar S), he grew up in a home where jazz, disco, house and techno reigned supreme. Inspired by contemporary hip-hop and RnB as much as he is the music of family friends Amp Fiddler, Kenny Dixon Jr and OB Ignitt, he’s enjoyed a musical upbringing like few others in modern-day Detroit. Generation Next is also a DJ of some repute and has already shared the decks with the likes of Omar S, John FM and Walter Glasshouse, while in Europe he debuted his live show at Panorama Bar, which perhaps goes some way to explaining his standing amongst discerning electronic music fans. New Music Worldwide is a weekly mix series hosted by Thris Tian. This week’s New Music Worldwide comes from DJ Normal 4. DJ Normal 4 is a founding member and co-creator of Aiwo Rec. Raised close to Düsseldorf in the Ruhr Area, a former strong and lively industrial conglomerate city. It is now a bygone and dead epicentre of German heavy Industry, full of dusty factory skeletons and abandoned industrial complexes. This harsh backdrop is evident in his productions. One foot in the fields of the the glorious summer of ‘92′ and one in the ‘no future 4 ever‘ sounds emanating from Düsseldorf via Amsterdam to London, Lyon to The Hague today. With high praised releases for respected Berlin label Klasse Wrecks his sound has captured the zeitgeist that led to killer remixes on Dekmantel, Especial and more.

New Music Worldwide is a weekly mix series hosted by Thris Tian. This week’s New Music Worldwide comes from Tracey. Tracey is the alias of fast-rising producer Tom Ruijg. Based in Amsterdam, Tracey is an esteemed selector with a celebrated history behind the decks in his native Holland. He has now turned his hand to producing, having releasing tracks on the Tom Trago curated Voyage Direct label. Rightly he won praise for his first 12” as Tracey, Skyfall, which surfaced in early 2017. Combining elements seemingly inspired by vintage Detroit futurism, ‘90s ambient techno and his own love of colourful synth melodies, the EP saw Tracey set out his stall in impressive fashion. His sound is rich, deep, mature and captivating.

To date, the collective has released two LPs. 2016’s Bird Sound Power is distinctive and radical, comprised of fractured dancehall rhythms, dark soundscapes, and tinges of hip hop. 2017’s Colón Man is more cohesive, taking the dark, psychedelic sounds of the first record further. This mix comes from Equiknoxx founder and producer Bobby Blackbird. He explores the tracks that have shaped him and the group over the past few years.

Across a glittering 18 year production career under an array of aliases, Eduardo de la Calle has worked with many of the most important labels of modern times such a Planet-E Communications, International Deejay Gigolo, TURBO, Hivern Discs, Mule Musiq, Semantica, NONPLUS, Mental Groove, NON SERIES, ORBE - as well as fathering his own vinyl-only imprint Analog Solutions. It's hard to put a fine point on Eduardo's sound. Equally capable of composing lush, languid soundscapes, exotic tech-house, sci-fi Jazz and brutal big room assaults, De la Calle is a truly multi-faceted artist and showcases his selector abilities in this New Music Worldwide mix.

Following releases on Church, Farout Recordings and his own label Woop Records, Hauke has been making a huge imprint on the UK underground scene with his no-nonsense, raw yet refreshingly absorbing electronic music. Ranging from Hip Hop to Broken Beat to House and everything in-between. His latest release ‘First Takes EP’ is available on 12” from Woop Records.

This mix comes ahead of Fake delivering a brand new 4-track EP Sunder on 23 February 2018, which sees Fake take a different direction to his usual output. Title track 'Sunder' is rougher, more urgent and raw, more beat-oriented, but still retains the same warmth and emotive character that he is renowned for. RANGEr's debut release has come on London-based Waella’s Choice. As an acclaimed producer, DJ, singer and video artist, Alan Abraham's diverse background presents itself in the debut release and in this New Music Worldwide mix.

Originally set up solely as a label, Lehult has ventured into the promotions game and now throws parties in Hamburg and Berlin amongst other European cities.

Berlin based producer Max Graef brings his unique and fresh outlook on vintage dance music to the New Music Worldwide mix series. Head honcho of Money $ex Records alongside another Worldwide FM favourite Glenn Astro, Max began exploring and experimenting with production while on a student exchange in London, and both he and his MPC-led tunes found a home at Prenzlauer Berg’s OYE record shop upon return to Berlin.
