Lately I've been exploring the world of Downtempo music more than anything else. I think this comes from the fact that during these times where i'm spending most of my time at home like most people in the world, I feel more drawn to slow swaying, groovy, melodic music. This kind of music makes me feel grounded and it helps me clear my mind. Like Bill Hicks said "all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration. we are all one consciousness, experiencing itself subjectively." This helps me understand why I consider Downtempo music therapeutic. The slower we move, the closer we get to natures vibrations.

"Driven by the love for old school sounds and the curiosity to discover new music, I digged into different genres and cultures in search of the mix that represents me musically. A journey through Hip Hop blended with the freshest hits, R&B, Dancehall and Afrobeat, with the aim of describing my quarantine mood and my desire to return to the clubs." Fobys (real name Alessio Moricca) is based in Sicily and, alongside YhtD and Cipo, one of the residents at Aitho Entertainment's parties, where he shared the stage with Jarreau Vandal and Skinny Macho. "I’m of the opinion that every mix I make has its own story, because the selections are not made randomly. I’ve heard many artists give advice on how to create mixes based on where you need to play them, if you are in a club or on a radio. Gain experience is important, but these are things that annoy me because it always seems that there’s someone who has to dictate the rules when, instead, my thought is that everyone can play what they want and when they want, with the awareness of being able to accept diversity, which also applies to listeners.
